Absolutely disgraceful. Friday night, very messy service counter. Dirty delivery bags dumped on service desk, where people's food, is served to customers. Very juvenile behaviour from various staff members. Lack of leadership shown. Nobody pulled staff members, unacceptable behaviour, up. Felt like you were watching young children, without adult supervision. Definitely need Adult supervision/ Leadership. Other customers were made to wait nearly 20 mins, for, what looked like a mcflurry and drink. When told by a staff member, have a good night, his words were, I will now, whilst walking away, and saying how p####ed off, he was. Another customer, had been waiting, for at least 20 minutes, for his food order. Mind you, he was given 2 hot drinks he ordered, 2 minutes after ordering. By the time his food was served, his drinks would have been, too cold. Pitiful organisation. The swearing that could be heard, from staff members was also disgraceful. I have hearing problems, yet I could the "F" word being used, conversation was from a couple of the staff members. SATURDAY NIGHT go to Mecca's again. Big mistake. Once again, staff lacked any mutual respect, for one another, let alone, the customers. Service was pretty ordinary. No organisation skills shown. Young lass, in the Macafe section, one of the very few, who worked flat out. One young male, with mullet, absolutely disgraceful, he was using the "F" word, on a few occasions. I was not happy with any of the ongoing, rude behaviours. Shop floors are needing to be constantly cleaned. Sad how the McDonalds, have lost a lot of value. I really wanted to get up, and ask who was in charge?. I also wanted to yell at the staff, to pull their heads in, and do the job they are being paid, to do. Read moreWent to Maccas tonight and didnt get something in our order bag, its not surprising it was missed as the girls at the window were too busy mucking around and talking about some boy who had been in the drive through with their backs facing the serving window handing stuff out. Unfortunately we didnt notice we were missing something until we had got out of town/no service. Came back in and hour later and thought we will just go through the drive through and get it. Re ordered and got to the payment window and advised it was missed in our order so we would like it for free. The girl (this young girl was lovely) said one moment I will just get the manager. Came back without the manager and said the manager said we cant do that sorry, you will need to pay for it again. Asked if she could get the manager. Manager comes and rudely advises we should of called or came and spoke to him not came and demanded things. How can we speak to you if you dont come, then when you ask to speak to you we are being demanding?!?! No apology, smart response and shut of the window. What chance do you young servers have when this is the behaviour of the management. Very poor of the male manager tonight whom I will not name and shame, hopefully this review gets read and heard. If you miss something in a meal its not hard to apologise to the customer and offer a replacement. All over a $2 apple pie. Read moreUnfortunately the 2/7/22 was the worst fast food experience of our lives. We were in a taxi (usually $10 trip) and thought we’d drive through maccas on the way home. We ended up waiting in the drive-through at the final window for 20 minutes, during which not one staff member came to the window to tell us what was going on. I ended up needing to leave the taxi and go inside to enquire about the delay, at which time I observed the floor behind the counter to be so dirty that it was completely black throughout. There were fries, paddy’s and bun burgers everywhere that staff were treading on; all of which I observed as I waited another 2 minutes for someone to respond to me at the counter. When I was finally able to speak with staff, they looked to their left and handed me our order (that appeared to have been sitting there for some time) and said “sorry for the wait”. There was no explanation as to the 20+ minute wait time, despite me politely asking. Meanwhile, our ongoing taxi meter ended up costing us $37 (extra $27 than usual) to be provided with a cold and clearly unhygienic meal.
Whilst this was the fault of this specific Mt Gambier shop, needless to say for the financial cost, our health (unhygienic store) and wellbeing (shocking, inattentive and rude service) we have not returned...
