Modus Coffee — Restaurant in Mount Lawley

The most shocking service I have ever experienced. Coming to order a coffee with my child and having the man with a moustache serving me and starring at my child in disgust while I’m ordering. I am absolutely shocked and disappointed that I am made to feel uncomfortable ordering a coffee with my child and this man treating me like I’m not allowed in the cafe from the minute I’ve walked in. Would never be going back and you should be chatting to your staff about customer service because there is none of that here....

Dropped into Modus Coffee in Mount Lawley on the way into the city and was really impressed. The café has a cool, minimalist feel but still manages to be warm and welcoming. Ordered a long mac topped up which was perfectly balanced — rich, smooth and came out quickly even though there was a steady stream of customers. Also grabbed a toasted banana bread which was spot on. The barista was happy to chat about the different beans they rotate through, which was a nice touch. Coffee was great and barista was amazing too. I bought a croissant and humbly and politely asked the guy with glass with light brown hairs, to heat up the croissant for me, which he refused straight away with rude No.

I was shocked even the barista was shocked. Anyway again politely told him that he was rude. But he was laughing and taunting.

He looked like a grown up man but the way he acted and responded without any cause, it seems like he is still a boy Anyway wish...
