The Pancake & Waffle Cafe — Restaurant in Mount Lawley

We visited this waffle shop yesterday and had one of the most unprofessional experiences ever. The front door was wide open, there was absolutely no clear sign saying the shop was closed, so naturally, we walked in. The only "closed" sign was stuck inside the door – completely invisible to anyone coming from outside.

When we entered, the man with glasses told us in a rude tone that they were closed. Fair enough, but his attitude was completely unnecessary. Instead of simply explaining, he chose to be disrespectful. If you don’t want customers walking in, keep the door shut or put the sign where people can actually see it.

If this gentleman with the glasses is the owner, then I can see why this place won’t last long – with that attitude, you’ll drive customers away. If he’s just staff, then management needs to seriously train him on basic manners.

We won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects even the bare minimum of...

The Pancake & Waffle Cafe stole my heart! From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the cozy, vibrant atmosphere, which felt like a warm hug. The waffles were an absolute dream—perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, topped with the freshest, juiciest strawberries. You could taste the love in every bite!

The cappuccino was a delight in itself, beautifully crafted with a rich, velvety texture that paired so well with the sweetness of the waffle. And the tea? Served in the most charming teacup that made the experience feel extra special.

It’s rare to find a place where everything feels just right, but The Pancake & Waffle Cafe is truly a gem. The staff were kind, the ambiance was magical, and the food was unforgettable. Waffles were amazing, milkshake were the best. Crape was 🤔🤔🤤 so good but disappointing. I only got one flat crape looked nothing like the pictures where they came in pairs or cut into four. My crape wasn’t stuffed. Only 1-2 cut strawberries spread out sparingly. Flavours were amazing however as my plate was emptied quickly due to not much being put on it. I got food envy as everyone else got the waffles and full plates. Loved how she shop was set up, loved was the fish and how clean the fish tank was.
