KFC Mudgee — Restaurant in Mudgee

Normally from previous experiences they were quite good. But last Tuesday when I went there the young girl on the front counter was rude confrontational and abrupt. Clearly couldn't cope because it was a little busy. She got the customer order in front of me wrong and was argumentative with him when he brought I t to her attention at collection and argued with him trying to make.out it was his fault. When I asked about a request about my bucket I was collecting she just dismissed my request and said she would pass it on to the girls putting the order together which was a lie as she just went back to doing what she was doing and when my order came out I had to re request it again to the other girls and I wasn't upset with them as I was aware the original angry girl on the counter had not bothered passing the information on, (she was standing right in front of the crew doing the food when the request was made) This counter girl clearly didn't want to be there, her tone towards customers was far from friendly and was just not interested and customer service is clearly not her thing. Despite the fact it may have been a little busy (I've been to much busier outlets) it was no excuse for her behaviour and when you're spending like 40 or more bucks to collect your lunch the least you'd expect that the workers there would be grateful you're in there spending you hard earned $$$ supporting their wages....

Arrived at KFC Mudgee at 6 PM on a Wednesday after paying, only to be told there were no chips available. I was asked to park and wait, which I did—for 16 minutes. When my order finally arrived, I headed home, only to find a disappointing meal.

The burger had no greenery, and the bun was sweaty, likely from sitting under the heat lamp for 17 minutes while waiting for the chips to cook. Speaking of chips—when they finally arrived, they had no salt. My kids’ Go Buckets contained just two nuggets each and barely any chips.

The food tasted oily and unappetizing. In the end, none of us could eat it—we threw it away as soon as we got home. Even my kids said, “The Vegemite toast I made was better.”

This will be the last time we visit KFC Mudgee. The lack of consistency and quality isn’t worth gambling my hard-earned money on...

Not a fan of this KFC outlet. Tried to make a purchase online but the platform was apparently not working. KFC deducted money from my account the 4 times I tried to correct errors transaction Went to the 'restaurant' to be told by the lady manager that the system was malfunctioning my order hadn't gone through and the system should refund my payments, so I had to buy it at the store...and yeah, the online lunch special was unavailable in-store but the manager wouldn't match the offer and wanted to charge me 50% more for the same purchase...it was all too hard so I cancelled and left with nothing and still have transactions outstanding on my account.
