Without a doubt the coolest thing I've ever done in 45 years on this planet. Matt, you're a maestro with a passion for the art of barbering. My first ever straight-razor shave was an experience I'm going back for again and again. I'm throwing my 5 bladed Gillette thing in the bin and Matt is getting the call whenever I feel the need for his steady hand and cut-throat razoring skills. To top it off, Katie makes an absolutely cracking cup of coffee that's smooooooooth and velvety as can be. It's such a delight to have met people that have such a passion for what they do. Back in the barber shop at the back of the cafe, you'll find everything you'll ever need to keep your beard or tasche just right. If you ask nicely, while chilling out on the grooviest barbers chair you'll ever sit in, Matt just might share a little of his fine Canadian whiskey with you. I won’t be coming to Keith again after another disappointing meal — I ordered the hotcakes with warm butterscotch pecan sauce ($20), which was cold and grainy, as well as being extremely poorly presented making it evident there was no time or care put into it. The hash brown was an add on, and very over salted. My pot of tea was served just above lukewarm. On top of this, I had to ask for water after sitting for twenty minutes, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than doing their jobs well. Unfortunately the coffee is VERY AVERAGE. I have been a number of times as the reviews of others is very good but every time I have been I have been very underwhelmed. They don't do any syrups (So I couldn't have a vanilla latte) as they say there coffee is so good they don't want o ruin it with sugar products (thats what I was told when I asked) but the coffee was not at all nice. I tried to make it palatable with sugar at the table but the only option is coconut sugar that give a random, unplesent flavour. I will unfortunately not be returning for coffee.
