Montague Coffee — Restaurant in Narooma

Good coffee. Courteous service. As it turns out, I left my wallet on a table in the cafe and didn't discover it until I filled the tank in Batemen's Bay and went to pay. I knew that the cafe had closed (the sign was going up as we walked in) so I rang the local Police (they didn't have it) and panicked and generally gave up hope of getting my wallet back (wasn't even sure of the name of the cafe). Eventually tracked down the cafe and spoke to Mark who confirmed that he had the wallet. Whew!! Relief. Mark posted it back to my home address in Sydney that morning and, 24 hrs later, I have my wallet and all it's contents. As I said, good coffee, courteous service, and staff that are honest and go the extra mile. I am definitely dropping in there next time I head south....

An absolutely rude server at the front counter we simple asked abt breakfast then received attitude and she didnt offer any assistance as suggested below. Or even worse mention what they did have as anyone wanting to sell their goods to customers would at a cafe. We were truely gobsmacked! they were not helpful. terrible customer service, so obvious it was no misunderstanding it was very clear rudeness and poor hospitality. seriously i say please ...

This review is about the coffee!! the fantastic coffee, first tasted when we holidayed in the area a few years ago. We began buying online. We've tried a few blends, loving the Lighthouse Blend, but recently moved to PNG coffee. The service is 10/5; always arrives within a few days, best yet was ordered one day 12noon, on our doorstep in Sydney 11am the next day. ...
