Raven Cafe & Grill — Restaurant in Narooma

I ordered an eggs Benedict with bacon. An eggs Benedict with smoked salmon arrives to the table. I politely say, I asked for bacon, not smoked salmon please. Waitress removes plate from the table in silence and returns with the kitchen ticket and says “it says salmon”. I politely say, I don’t eat smoked salmon and I would never order it. Waitress turns and walks away. Short while later my eggs Benedict return with bacon. I cut into the toast and it’s smooshy and stinks and smells like smoked salmon and is stone cold. Egg is not cooked, with clear egg white still visible. They literally just scraped off the salmon they soaked into the bread and replaced it bacon and didn’t even bother to cook the eggs through. I’m so sick and tired of experiences like this. Imagine if I had an allergy. Most of us have to work really hard to be able to go to breakfast and been treated like this just...

Looked good from the carpark. Apon entering not very clean and inside which you would think to be a cafe seating area looked more like a storage room.

The staff member 'Rae' which served us was so friendly and polite and did a great job, the rest of the staff seemed grumpy, abrupt and not very friendly.

We noticed a sign saying wait outside for takeaway orders, but noticed that staff would just yell out a name and we did not want to miss hearing our names called, so waited at the back door near the one table and chair inside.

My husband sat on the chair as he has a bad knee, but was then abruptly aproached by a staff member saying "thats the staff table mate", so that she could sit down on her phone. There was no sign saying stuff just bread rolls and boxes on the one side of the table.

Burgers, Vibes, and Big Feels Okay, so I wasn’t planning to fall in love with a burger, but here we are - The Big Cheese!!!

While passing through Narooma, we ended up at The Raven, and they served up what might honestly be the best burger I’ve had in ages. Juicy, cheesy, messy—in the best way. I had sauce on my face and zero regrets.

Portion size? Massive. I thought I’d take some home... I did not. My willpower didn’t stand a chance.

The whole place just has a chill, comfy vibe. You walk in and instantly feel like you’re in the right spot—kind of like your cool friend’s house, if your cool friend could actually cook and had great lighting.

Also, the staff? Legends. Super friendly, super helpful, and they actually looked happy to be there, which made me happy to be there. 10/10 for good vibes...
