They False advertise a lot on their menu - online menu states milkshakes come with toppings (whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate buttons for $8.50, which is what I expected to get. however when I ordered I was told they don’t come with any toppings, just the plain milkshake and she still charged me $8.50 - what a rip off! Nachos on their website are pictured with guacamole, however mine came with a tiny dollop of sour cream, that’s all, no guacamole! And it was quite bland, very tasteless, needs some seasoning and salt and pepper - without the guacamole is completely tasteless!! The hot chips, I asked for chicken salt - I double checked with the young girl who brought it out, she told me they had chicken salt, they didn’t have any salt at all! Nothing! So I had to eat bland potato chips with no salt and they also didn’t even provide a small thing of tomato sauce, which most places do…all this for $44.80…massively overpriced for bland tasteless food…not worth the hefty prices for what they offer - don’t take for word what their online menu states, as they do not provide everything advertised on it…that’s false advertising, which is illegal. They should be charging less if they don’t have all the ingredients that they state that the meal comes with, online - to top it all off I found them to be quite rude and a bit huffy when I asked her questions…she shouldn’t be dealing with customers with that sort of attitude, very off putting! and when I asked for an extra fork and some extra napkins, as the nacho box was leaking everywhere, the young waitress girl gave me an annoyed face about having to give me an extra fork (I was sharing with 2 others and one fork wasn’t enough) and when I asked for a few extra napkins as the box was leaking, she told me I had enough napkins!! Do yourself a favour, go to one of the other 5 or so cafes around, I almost went to Salt down by the water, and I really wish I had! Not impressed and...
Read moreSublime Narooma is a hidden gem of takeaway. From these reviews you are reading, I can assure you they’re no exaggeration.
The food here is unmatched in the area. The cheeseburger was flawlessly grilled, with the ultimate ratio of beef, cheese, mustard, tomato sauce, and pickles shrouded in the most perfectly toasted milk buns you will ever get to taste. The burgers here are better than the standard restaurant-quality burger for a fraction of the price. The fries were unparalleled. They had the perfect ratio of fluffy potato under the crispy surface.
The staff are friendly and are kind enough to bring the order outside of the restaurant when you’re waiting. The wait times are not that long either. I went with a large group, and the wait time did not seem to take long for eight people to get their meals. I imagine it would be a lot faster for a smaller group.
Due to the standard of the food, I would say that if you had to spend $10-$16 on a burger, you should spend your money at Sublime Narooma. You’ll get more than what you have paid. The cost is standard for the burgers in the area though the calibre is way above the prices they’re charging.
This place has 4.8 out of 5 stars for a reason. I would make it a 5-star establishment. The experience had me genuinely stunned. I was not expecting this level of quality, but I welcomed the sudden astonishment. I recommend going here so you can understand that my words are...
Read moreWe are here on holidays and after researching reviews online we were super excited to try this place but unfortunately we’re super disappointed.
Price was super expensive $70.50 c for a kids cheeseburger, kids nachos, fiery/hot chick burger, small fries, sub roll and a milkshake.
the chicken on the roll and the burger were processed pieces of chicken and for the price I don’t think that’s acceptable. Definitely needs to be written on the menu so customers don’t think they are getting a fresh chicken burger.
the ladies serving were super friendly but unfortunately there was miscommunication and I ended up having 2 upset kids as we ordered the chocoholic milkshake and one of the ladies brought out a chocolate milkshake and said “ the chef was already in the process of making a chocolate milkshake so you can have this one” given that it didn’t have the chocolate flakes and brownies on top the kids thought that they were still getting the one we had originally ordered so we’re super upset just to get a plain chocolate milkshake
Over all If the chicken wasn’t processed or the price was a little cheaper given that then I definitely would have...
