S.A.W.S Fusion — Restaurant in Narooma

My family and I went in the other day, As it looked like a good place to sit down and get something to eat and drink, However we couldn't have been more wrong. If only it was the food that was not a good experience. To first speak about the food, We had to wait very long to receive our meals, And it wasn't even busy at that time, But we weren't rude and didn't complain, Then as we began to eat, We all noticed our meals were not even fresh and tasted terrible beyond belief. And the meals that were meant to be hot, Were completely cold. And by this stage we had to say something, And when we spoke to one of the workers there, She was beyond rude and very aggressive, And pretty much called us liars and offered no apology, And didn't seem to understand what customer service meant. And that wasn't even the worst part of the experience. We are an Indigenous family, And we over heard the women there saying quite racist derogatory comments about my family and I, That I won't repeat on here, Which was absolutely disgusting to think owners of any business would act and speak in the way they did. You wouldn't think that would happen in this country still. So I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this terrible place, With the views they have, And with the service you will receive, But especially anyone of Indigenous heritage, Or anyone with darker features. They seem like your typical racist white women, That don't like anyone different to them. Very...

Dropped into SAWS for the first time to grab a quick bite and I am thoroughly impressed! I had the salmon and avocado sushi and the chicken katsu sushi. The rice was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of vinegar to season the rice. The salmon was fresh and the chicken katsu cooked to perfection. They also make a great cup of coffee! These peeps are the bomb. Good food, good coffee, good vibes + great and friendly, hard working people. And not to forget; they are bringing a dose of new and exciting cuisine to Narooma. Get on over here and congratulate them (Over a tasty roll or two…) for changing the game for the better! I can’t wait to see how this café will continue to grow and develop!
