Jia Dumpling (Same management as Sunflowers Chinese Restaurant) — Restaurant in Nedlands

We were looking for some take away food close to the Somerville Cinema last night. Going online, we found Suflowers restaurant and ordered 3 dishes - Tofu Claypot, Vegetable fried rice and Singapore noodles. My vegetarian wife loved the tofu claypot with a delicious garlic sauce.

The fried rice was pretty good, maybe a few more veggies would have been great, but flavour wise, it was very tasty.

My Singapore noodles didn't have the curry powder flavour that I was expecting. This may be my mistake, and maybe my interpretation of Singapore noodles isn't the same as the restaurant's. Flavour was good, but there were a HUGE amount of noodles. A bit more veggies and chicken would have been great.

Overall, all the dishes were fresh, tasty and didn't have that greasy texture you get with some Chinese food. We will...

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude Sunflower Chinese Restaurant for their exceptional service on Wednesday night. Despite the kitchen being closed, they went above and beyond to prepare food for my dad, who has been struggling to eat due to his cancer treatment. He thoroughly enjoyed the delicious chicken, sweet corn soup, and fried rice. Your kindness and delicious food made a difficult time a little bit easier. Thank you for your exceptional service...

The Mongolian beef is amazing! So good. I struggle not to pick up the plate and lick the plate clean like a dog.

The service here is excellent. They really go to extraordinary measures. They don't just slap down some glasses and a bottle of water on the table for you like most restaurants. They professionally and delicately pour your glass as well. They even do the same with their rice. They are very polite and very friendly.
