Big Fella Burgers, you audacious shrine to all things patty! Walking into this joint is like stepping into a foodie sitcom, complete with a clean set and a cast of burgers that could star in their own Netflix special.

The place? So spotless I half-expected a janitor to pop out and offer me a complimentary mop with my meal.

I dove into the chicken wrap, and let me tell you, it was like playing “Where’s Waldo?” with the chicken. I’m pretty sure I tasted more wrap than cluck, but it was decent enough—like a hug from a tortilla that’s trying its best. Meanwhile, my 12-year-old son, the Gordon Ramsay of pre-teens, gave the cheeseburger a nod of approval. Folks, when a kid who’d critique a Michelin star chef for over-salting his Cheerios says it’s good, you know it’s a winner. That burger deserves a gold star and a parade.

The chips? Oh, bless their starchy little hearts. They were like the wallflowers at a fry party—edible, but so bland they could audition for a role as “background spud” in a fast-food flick. Seasoning, where art thou? Still, they filled the void, and I didn’t hate them.

Would I return to Big Fella Burgers? You bet your buns I would! Next time, I’m sticking with the beef, because the chicken wrap was like a shy intern who forgot to show up for the flavor meeting. Ordered on Uber eats. $8 store delivery price for 3km. Quite bad. $19.50 for a pulled pork burger, the burger was tiny with no complexity, like 4 ingredients. I think 19.50 was meant to be 15.90 and something just went wrong in translation as no other similar price menu items are that expensive on Uber eats. I expected this to be a larger or better burger than the 15.90 one but it was the same. This combined with the other surcharges led for very small amount of food for the price paid.

Taste was comparable to rest of town, I wouldn't describe it as better than any other restaurants like McDonald's HJ whatever, and there are a few that clearly rank higher (burger urge, Williamsburg etc). Chicken pieces below average, fries average. I'll try something else probably ask staff to recommend out of curiousity, but won't be using Uber eats or getting delivered.

If I could give a lower than one star I would. I was utterly disgusted in the service I was provided. I waited over two hours for my food and had to personally go to the restaurant and wait for my food to be “remade” only to be given the same cold delivery that I had requested at 5:44pm once the driver arrived back at the store. When I contacted via the phone to the restaurant seeking clarification on where the food was up to, I was told a maximum of another 20 minutes due to it being busy which I accepted. After waiting, I again made contact and said I would be making a complaint to which the lady ended the phone call with a laugh and said, “no worries, sir”. I even spoke to the delivery driver multiple times and explained my address in addition to walking to the street to see where they were and sending it via text to no result.
