We popped in to Melita for a casual lunch knowing from past experience with excellent breakfast sandwiches and coffee that we would be in for a home made treat prepared with skill and love. The food and the service have real heart just as you would hope for from a family run cafe. The sweet potato, carrot and cashew soup was divine - so flavourful, creamy and filling with very garlicky garlic toast. Read moreCame here with my wife for lunch and, while I'd like to see more on their menu, I couldn't fault this place. In a nice, cozy cafe with a homely feel, the food was delicious. From the freshness of the ingredients to the well balanced portions, it made for an outstanding lunch at a good price. Even though we arrived close to closing time after the lunch period, the staff were great and never made us feel rushed. If I could give a higher rating, this place definitely deserves it. I can't recommend a visit to this family run cafe highly enough and I'm so glad we chose to breakfast here whilst travelling through the area. Mum and Dad were the chefs and their food was delicious.
