I found myself in Queanbeyan early in the morning with an hour to kill so looked for a cafe that was open early (7am). And this is what I found. Ordered poached eggs with smoked salmon and mushrooms with a large extra hot cappuccino. They served the eggs off the toast (which is how they should be served say you can butter the toast). The eggs were just right and everything tasted wonderful. Smiling and friendly service and in winter the eastern sun streams in just right. Hidden gem. Just need more reasons to be here early in the morning.

Visitors to Queanbeyan, we had brunch here today. Total for 4 meals and various coffees was just over $90. This included a macaron treat for $3.90. No complaints about the food. It was lovely, tasty and fresh. Service was friendly and reasonably prompt. Ambience was a bit stark and unfinished for my liking but there was a choice of indoor and outdoor seating. My only criticism would be that the menus were well used and very grotty looking. Hand sanitiser on the tables was helpful for this. We would visit this business again.

Went for Sunday morning breakfast, great food, quick service and good coffee too. Think the beans were ONA. Hard to fault the experience. We had roasted vegetable paninis, the Turkish bread was great. Appropriately priced for a breakfast spot ($13 for paninis). Staff were also friendly and helpful. The menu had a good variety, including vegetarian options, and a number of exciting looking specials.

We came here to grab some breaky, place looked nice, good atmosphere until I asked if they cooked spinach, the man serving me became extremely rude, I then asked for a croissant and asked if they toast that, to which he continued to berate me and kept on going on about the spinach and “if youcan’t Deal with it then go somewhere else”... he kept on going and was getting very irate. Dissatisfied with his rude and aggressive behaviour I asked to speak to the manager to which he said he was the manager. He continued to be agitated and eventually he ordered someone else to serve me. The woman who took over was lovely, at the end of taking my order I asked for details to put in a formal complaint bypassing the “manager” which made the angry “manager” have another go at me yelling in front of everyone to ? his “manager” that “this guy wants to make a complaint about me coz we don’t cook spinach” I had to turned away from here and had to tell his “manager” that I would not discuss it in front of him bacause of his abusive behaviour. Luckily she was lovely and gave me details for the owner to make a complaint. Horrible experience! I’m guessing by all the good reviews it was just that guy but geez, I won’t be going back in a hurry! Oh the also stuffed up my order and not the $9 ham & cheese croissant was...

Ordered three meals—Eggs Benedict with salmon, smashed avo, and crepes—all priced between $15–22. While the staff were lovely and provided great service, the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price. The crepes were dry and topped with just a few berries and almost no maple, which felt underwhelming. The smashed avo consisted of a single slice of sourdough cut in half, topped with avocado and eggs—minimal and not particularly filling. Overall, the food was overpriced given the quality and serving size. Would love to see improvements in portion and presentation to...
