The service was so disappointing. I told them I’ll be picking up a cake at 10:30 and it wasn’t ready until 11:20 and the manager was rude as well, didn’t apologise for the delay and assumed I was making fun of the staff and even when it was cleared up that I wasn’t, she didn’t apologise. Won’t be coming here again.
No actually, let’s clarify a few things.
if you looked at the emails we’ve sent back and forth, you would see that i said pick up time was at 10:30. You could’ve easily sent an email yesterday that the pick up time would be 11 instead of 10:30 as I requested before. My friend and I never made fun or even talked about your staff in anyway. We were waiting for the cake and talking to each other and joking around. What do you want us ro do while waiting, not talk to each other?, that’s absolutely ridiculous. You should take a good look at yourself instead and try to think about how you can change before you tell me to take a look at myself. Your behaviour towards me was actually disgusting, the fact that you didn’t let me explain myself was rude. I sent thé deposit on the 8th of june and told you to get started on the cake, so how’s that my fault that you weren’t able to get started on it until saturday? And no, I didn’t collect the cake at 11:06. Your staff came up to me at that time telling me the cake would be ready in 2 minutes, mind u I was checking the time and I couldn’t collect the cake...
Read moreQueanbeyan shop. Customer Service...It is just not there... I ordered a birthday cake and there was a mix with the guy that took the order from me. I was clear when i asked the exact birthday cake like 2 weeks ago.The guy told me all good no problem.I don't need to mention that a normal bussiness should keep a record of the orders at least for birthday cakes or catering purposes. I picked up my order today and it was something different plus it was at least 2 days old and not fresh. So i called them back to tell them that the cake was the wrong one. Finally the manager said to me that i ordered mud cake and not torta... She knew that without check with her employee first...Also she replied to me that they don't keep a record for orders coming in by name but she was sure that i said mud cake and not torta on the phone....Come on we don't talk about keep a record for coffee customers. How many name orders for birthday cakes they have per day???Is it so hard to keep a f** record? The end of it was that i have to pay another 35$ for the actual torta i like, for a mistake that is not mine... So instead of spent $10(thats the actual cost of a torta) to please the customer ,they will lose 1165$ the next year because i will never go there again. Read moreHad a very disappointing reaction regarding feedback towards their pancakes. Was very discreet and waited at the end of the counter until there was no other customers. Prior to giving feedback a read on here there responses to other comments regarding face to face feed back and that they encouraged customers to speak directly to them. Upon telling them that the pancakes were inedible due to the very leather like consistency which I have now found out others have experienced. I was told that it was my fault because I had ordered them an hour ago and they had been left sitting (wrong we weren't there for an hour) I was also passed off to 3 different staff members all of which did not take my feed back well. The current pancake recipe definitely needs to be reviewed. I would also like to make it very clear that I was not asking for my money back (not that it was offered) I simply was providing feedback after owning a very successful 25 year old catering business myself. We can always grow from feedback and the young woman who eventually spoke to me was instead extremely condescending and rude.
