We went here with friends for dinner on a week night and although the outside of the pub didn’t look appealing to me, (the 2 guys we were with were fine with the look, but it looked rough and a little Wharfy ish to me!) we went in. My thoughts didn’t improve when once inside we had to walk through the main bar but once we made it to the Bistro (and I’m sure there are other entrances we could have used) we were very pleasantly surprised. Heard the odd door close at night but other than that slept well. Good security for after hour access, pass card for both the 2 entrances plus the room. You will need to get your baggage up a flight of stairs, but sensor lights and good railing came in handy for that. I would stay again...
