Undercooked, undercooked and undercooked. Ordered chilli lamb, and salt and pepper squid, BOTH arrived undercooked. Undercooked squid is dangerous, guys, how did this make it past your Quality assurance? Chilli lamb was also dangerously undercooked, all of these are rookie errors by an incompetent chef. Staff didn't ask about the quality of the meal, and when we went to pay, the lady shoved the eftpos machine in my direction and didn't even look at me. Very very disappointed and will never be returning.

‘The Ungreatful Thai’……Definitely would not recommend this restaurant. Lunch today was very disappointing. After waiting 45 minutes for 3 scallops to arrive, I asked if they had forgotten our order. They said that it took a long time to cook them. Longer than a stir fry would take! The scallops were small and only just seared. The Covid person asked what was the problem in a very defensive way. We won’t be returning to this unfriendly place. Even the flowers were unhappy!

Authentic Thai and so fresh. They make their curry pastes on site. Food made to order and top quality. Been several times with different people and foundfood and service to be consistently high. Especially can vouch for there pork skewers and curry puffs and chicken satay for entree and all there Thai curries are sensational. A must try to this new Thai. You be greatful u did!! By the way they also licenced and make coffee and Thai tea so sweet and nice. Go try.

Complaint against the service received:

I was extremely disappointed with the service received when I dined at your restaurant as a second time , 20th JAN 2022. I would like to make a complaint against the bad service received.

I ordered an Italian seafood spaghetti and a glass of Thai style milk tea. Strangely, drinks wasn’t served until I almost finished the meal. My concern about the fish fillets, prawns, and scallops tasteless but spaghetti was good. I assume your chef cook it separately

As a frequent diner, this is not the quality of food that one would expect from a restaurant of your level and reputation.

Upon settling the bill, I raised the concern to the cashier (unexpectedly, no responses at all) until I ought to ask and tell again. She replied, “Thanks for your feedback, I will inform the manager later” when the manage was just beside her .Meanwhile, the restaurant manager walked towards and approached me , I repeated what I said and she replied me “if there’s some complaint go to my staff , usually what we do is , staff talk to manager and manager talk to chef and find it out whats going on ” I said : “Alright you are just next to her and she could tell you straight about my concern”Your manager who named Jane replied me in the aggressive manners telling me that “well,All our meals are cooked together, you should request for more sauce per your preference” – I am still wondered to understand what does it mean? She just told me she had to check with the chef and now she can tell me straight what’s the problem but I still don’t accept this kind of answer.

I request you to look into matter and take some reaction against your staff and “manager”. Else, you might lose some customers. I believe that this is not the type of letter you wish to receive. I hope you shall take the appropriate actions to ensure no repeat of such a bad experience to...

The staff were lovely and friendly. The food did not take long to come out but it was very disappointing. $140 for 2 beers and 3 entrees and 3 mains. This food just didn’t taste like authentic Thai food. The sauces tasted pre made and commercial. Also extremely sweet. Pad Thai gluggy not smoky and sugary. Green Curry bland and sugary not chilli enough. Peanut sauce on sates was sweet and again tasted like it came out of a bottle. Fish cakes lacked any flavour and didn’t even taste like fish. There are two other Thai restaurants we visit locally and both are far better. We are sorry we chose Grateful Thai but were told it was the same owners as Humble Thai . The food is nothing like what is served at Humble Thai. Also the decor is like sitting in an 80s cafe. There needs to be some review at this restaurant on the way the food is cooked and what ingredients are being used unless of course it is actually coming out of bottles like the ones for sale at the counter . I suppose this place is also catering to the bland and boring Aussie palette. We won’t...

Had lunch here for three on a quiet Monday. Service member took order at the table. And we waited and waited. No drinks. No food. Others had food coming out. Asked the service member where was the food and drink (and watched him frantically find the order he hadnt actually placed with the kitchen). No apology. Just bought out the drinks and scurried away. Some takeaway transport boxes also fell off a low shelf onto the floor and the service member just used his shoes to move it back on the shelf (not good!) Two of the meals eventually came and were very nice (salt n pepper squid and kana moo grob), well presented and very tasty. Serving size was about average. The tofu pad thai was sickly sweet and none of us wanted to eat it. The atmosphere was certainly nicer than Charlesworth Square food court. Being licenced means it likely attracts a certain crowd. It was passable but could definitely improve on service and being honest and transparent with it's customers when THEY...
