New in town, I had passed by yesterday, but it wasn't the right time for me, so I came back on purpose today And what a great move!

First thing you may notice is how busy Alberto's Cafe is, anytime you come, you're likely to see lots of customers around

Second thing, is the numerous and VERY welcoming staff. Friendly, smiling, I even heard them call several customers by their first names, which shows those were returning customers, and that the staff cared to ask for their names and actually remember them. I even noticed some guests coming back in just to say bye and wish them a good day, that means a lot about the mood they've built up

About the place, it has different sections, with some stools and a bench by the kitchen (convenient when waiting for your food to go to be served for instance), tables inside, and outside It has nice decoration, with plants, nice lighting, and other nice touches Newspapers available too

And the last but not the least, the fooood, and drinks, indeed Lots of elaborated food options, with acai bowls, gourmet toasties, savory crepes, sweet crêpes, laksa etc For drinks, hot coffee, iced coffee, chai, smoothies, milkshakes, cold pressed juices... For your hot drinks you can choose the type of milk, if lactose free, add some syrup...

I personally started with an avai bowl, which featured, on top of acai indeed, pear, apple, banana, strawberries, muesli, almonds, dried goji berries, pumpkin seeds Then a smoked salmon brie avocado crepe (for French people, this is not a galette, but like a giant blini in a crepe format, well worth trying) And to drink a mixed fruits one (apple, pear, orange, ginger and lime) It was all appealing, yummy, healthy

An attention to details on all levels

Definitely the perfect place for brunch, once you'll have tired it, you'll want to come back, again and again

Highly...

What a pleasant surprise to find a highly rated & confirmed earned rating Cafe close to home. The seating area was bustling with happy customers, so I originally opted for takeaway, but the staff knew of an open table, and I was able to enjoy my brekkie fresh from the griddle. The Dirty Chai drink was spot on, the Swiss cheese perfectly melted on the Sourdough they pulled from the supply for my toastie. Every order was quick and even more enticing as the servers walked the meals to guests. The dear staff brought me a jug of table water and included ice (not common for table water in my experience). The friendly, sweet staff are happy as they go about their business. The only struggle you might have is deciding which meal from the assortment...

I've been going here for a couple of years and have never regretted a meal. I've gone out of my way to stay in the city just so I can have breakfast here in the morning before flying out. Any of the crepes and smoothies are amazing (I've honestly just about tried them all) and you absolutely cannot beat these prices. Easily best value anywhere in Darwin CBD. I've noticed the place getting busier over the years and have still never had to wait long for a meal - the staff are incredibly efficient despite the small space they have to work in; as a former hospitality worker I admire what the team achieve....

This little café hidden in the post office is always bustling whenever I visit! Tried their cappuccino today and was pleasantly surprised by its professional touch—the foam was velvety smooth, and the generous dusting of cocoa blended perfectly with the coffee. I used to aim for a thin, even sprinkle of cocoa powder, but now I realize this rich, creamy texture is what truly makes a cappuccino shine. Though the space is small, the vibe is just right—regulars chatting and laughing, people coming and going. It’s the kind of unpretentious little spot that keeps you coming back for more.~
