Bad experience this morning. I go to this cafe 2 to 3 times a week as I work nearby. Ordered almond milk latte takeaway and the coffee served was very week (also noted by another review recently), it tasted like plain almond milk. When I told this to the Asian lady (not the young girl) who made the coffee, she looked at me in disagreement and said "yes, it is a single shot" with a not-so-friendly tone. I asked for some extra coffee shot and she gave it to me, but clearly she was not happy. I know my almond latte and I usually order takeaway from this place and it had been consistently good until today. It's ok, we all make mistakes, but be open to admit it. Across the road from this place is another cafe and there when I point out something is not right, they correct it with a smiling face. You need that attitude, but to be fair other staffs are good, so I really hope this is a one...

Great atmosphere with a very relaxing music selection. The decor has a nostalgic vibe that reminded me of my university days, which I really enjoyed.

The pastries are good, but the coffee is even better. I had an almond croissant and a flat white—the coffee was excellent, but the croissant was a bit dry for my liking.

I had the pleasure of talking to the owner, Mr. Reed, about the coffee they use. He also mentioned that the pastries are sourced from a local business, which is great to see.

The staff are very attentive and friendly, which added to the overall pleasant experience.

My go-to coffee joint in Darwin :) Located at 35 Cavenagh street in Darwin City in the old Air raid arcade- this place is giving me 90's vibes, great music and the best coffee in town in my opinion.

They use Padre specialty roasters which I am a big fan of, but Good beans don't always mean good coffee! If you don't have a good barista who doesn't know how to make a great cup of coffee then those beans don't matter!

Thankfully, these guys know their stuff! We went here multiple times during our recent stay in Darwin and we were more than happy to drive into town for some...

Absolutely lovely and warm true Asian hospitality! The place has such a rich heritage and most importantly Lucky the barista makes fantastic coffee. Their coffee beans are ethically sourced and the owner Mr. Reed was a delight to talk to. He truly manages the cafe well and makes everyone feel welcomed. There’s a very bright future for him as he embodies good and savvy qualities as a cafe owner. Thanks once again and we will definitely drop in when on holiday next! Patissiers must hate Darwin. There's more humidity than anywhere south of here, and many places north. In the case of this perky little place, they've opted for the heavy croissant butter approach (as opposed to the French traditional "so light I swear it's a hologram" approach). The result is a buttery taste, with the air moisture transforming its once considerable weight to...well...more considerable. The coffee is well made, but very weak for an extra shot order. Otherwise, a place to come and be happy.
