What a find this place turned out to be! Tucked away in Stirling Street this venue is well worth locating. Quite a unique atmosphere. This diner-style cafe is heavily inspired by Compton (it's even in the name!) and rapper Coolio. Great atmosphere, squeaky clean establishment, very friendly and welcoming staff with great customer service, and top notch food!! One of the very few places in Perth that I have bought a coffee that is actually 5/5, and not tasting like the milk is off or was burnt while brewing. VERY rare to find; sample their coffee for comparison and see if you agree. The rich, creamy sauce that I first thought was Hollandaise but was a relish, brought a big smile to my face. Complimented the breakfast burger beautifully. The eggs were fresh, the streaky bacon rashers were crisp, even the bun itself oozed flavour as it had been lightly toasted which prevented a distractive separation of flavour from what was hiding inside. I remember Hungry Jacks in Dandenong and a few other places tried a retro style diner theme that almost worked but didn't, but the theme in this diner-style cafe - a definite urban one - has been pulled off so damn well.
