“I worked there for four months and would like to leave a comment about the service, which is incredibly fast and well-organized. I’ve never seen a place focus so much on every single detail of hospitality. Unfortunately, due to some confusion around language barriers and Australian slang, I had some long days trying to demonstrate good teamwork values and handle situations with humanity. Thankfully, the conversations happened at the right time, as one of the employees saved me from an unexpected allergic reaction. Kind and human support is the most beautiful thing to experience in hospitality. I assume the team learned a lot from this situation, improving their understanding of people and emergency management. They were completely open and receptive.

The owner couple were the most solid and supportive figures I had during my time there. After traveling for over four years through ten different countries, I sincerely have a deep, sentimental appreciation for this café. It gave me the emotional tools and opportunity to put myself in a better position in life. If you’re kind enough to listen, I hope this comment serves as a small token of gratitude to this talented team. I wish them a...

This is definitely the place to go for Breakfast or lunch with a simple bout delicious menu on offer.

I have been there for lunch and breakfast.

Breakfast was delicious as I had the smashed avocado on toast and added two poached eggs. Tasty and delicious.

Lunch was awesome as I ordered the Angus burger but had some of the calamari and the taco’s.

The Burger I requested at medium rare and it was rather nice. The texture of the patty suggested to me it’s freshly ground meat but not sure of the mix ratio.

The Calamai pieces were large, like chicken tenders. They were delicious with a nice coating and cooked to perfection!!!

The Fish Tacos had plenty of fish in them balanced with a nice salsa. They are large and served as 3 tacos, so you could share it quite easily.

Ahhh and the cocktails were just as equally delicious! From the Adult Latte to the classic Margarita.

This is a MUST visit joint for food and drink when in...

My mum sister and i have been in port Douglas on vacay, we came here for breakfast on our last day and we were all blown away and very impressed! :) the service was amaze, and the girls who served us were just lovely. 🤍 mums Turkish eggs were amazing, and sister enjoyed her smashed avo so much. In my opinion the corn and salsa was such a nice addition to see on smashed avo as finding different ways to spice up a traditional dish is fun. I got a gluten free toast with poached egg and some sides and I was so happy, as someone who is anxious and can be picky with how I eat things, I loved that everything was separate on my plate exactly how I would have set it up myself. mum and I shared the salmon and were very impressed with the serving size as we’ve seen other places do really disappointing small curls of salmon, keep up the amaze work guys! X (Coffee was also great and the view from the cafe speak...

This is a charming coffee shop, good to visit. The staff are very friendly, nice, but not really helpful or obliging for customers. Very basic approach to food service, can not alter off the menu. For example we had to order a side of sour dough bread, as we wanted a B.L.A.T, but no turkish bread. Good reason given that cook was on their own , and couldn't change. But lost us as we had to pay an extra $8 for the extra bread. Again good spot, great coffee, but not a place for food, when 3 doors up you can choose what you want and build your breakfast. And a subtle suggestion, remember small road blocks like food options just mean customers may not return... also notice the knife and fork dump today compared to yesterday, because we "complained "

A nice walk through the Marine Centre from the town to Choo Choos so called as it was the end of the sugar cane line when PD was the port of choice. Now a lovely restaurant nestled into the corner of the mariner. The staff were attentive and very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. I had the Eggs Benny with Tassie smoked salmon and Jodie had the scrambled eggs(3 eggs), grilled tomato, wilted spinach. The coffees came out quickly and were on point. Ask for a table facing the Marine as it has the most interesting view but the entire restaurant has views across the marine. If it wasn’t our last day we would be back for sure👍
