I wasn't quite sure what to expect before going to lunch here. My other half had been recommended the place and the majority of reviews were great. I did notice after the fact there were one or two other negative reviews. To book a table online as recommended, you had to provide credit card information, your personal details such as phone and email address. And then they charge you for using a card. But no cash option was avilable upon check out. So, upon entering we were escorted to our booth. I should have checked further online, as it was not a booth, more like a lounger lie back and eat situation. I would have dressed more appropriately. And would be ok if you could settle in for the afternoon for cocktails The lady said you order your meal and pay from the QR scanner. Please no shoes on booth(obviously) you also have 1.5 hours to complete your meal before you need to vacate your booth. You have to go to bar to order a drink. Pay upfront there. (BTW you also had to spend at least $35 pp as Stated on the booking site.) My pina colada was nice. That's about it. The cheese board was meh. We had almost zero interaction from staff. We drank, ate and left. Took us about 30 mins. There was no acknowledgment as we left. Although we were observed leaving by the bar staff. When I go out to eat at a seemingly lovely venue, I dont expect to do all the work and be charged for it. Definitely not impressed. We did however, find some amazing fresh cooked prawns from the local trawler $30 per kg Fabulous. That I would definitely recommend. And the young men were by far more engaging. Bon appetit!

This place was a pleasant find on our afternoon walk. Located down by the inlet, my advice is to book at least a week in advance. We have tried to book again because we loved it so much but they are booked out for the next week. They were fully booked when we arrived, however managed to accommodate us on one of their barrels. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the cocktail menu was incredible and the vibe was beachy, fun with some chilled house beats playing in the background. As the afternoon progressed, we decided we wanted to stay for dinner because the menu was making us salivate, luckily enough they had a last minute cancellation and were were able to secure a day bed and sat back watching the sunset drinking cocktails and eating delicious Asian fusion seafood. Highly recommend the Tuna Tataki, Schezuan squid and Coconut prawns. The truffle fries are also really good. Standout cocktails were the Basil Berry Smash and the Krakken cocktail (can’t recall the name). Highly recommend booking a daybed in advance and going down to watch the sunset, food and drinks are a must.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our Wedding Recovery. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, special event, or just a gathering with loved ones, Barbados is the perfect place for fun, relaxation in a beautifully designed setting. Justine, Wendy, and the whole Barbados team were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive. The food was outstanding, and the drinks list complemented the occasion perfectly. Having worked in the Events Industry for years in different parts of the world, I can confidently say that my partner, family and friend, and I were impressed. Our only regret was not visiting Barbados every day during our stay in Port Douglas and not indulging in more of their delicious oysters, which were some of the best we’ve ever had. Thank you again to the beautiful Barbados team for helping us create such lovely memories. We cannot wait to visit again! Love Erika and McLeod Xxx

The most pathetic service I have ever witnessed for such a beautiful spot. Not what it used to be.

During our initial visit, we were informed that we couldn't use the lounge chairs at the front because we had children with us. Consequently, we sat on stools behind them. The drink service was disappointing, with a beer taking 30 minutes to be poured from a bottle into a glass and delivered a short distance. Despite this, my father reserved a lounge at the front for an hour after a wedding three days later. He confirmed the reservation the day before, and they assured us it was still booked.

Upon our arrival, we were told the lounge was booked, and we were crammed into two lounge chairs with stools for nine people. About 30 minutes later, a family with two children arrived and received the lounge we had reserved. This was surprising, as we were previously told that children were not allowed to sit there. When my daughter accidentally spilled a cocktail, my father went back to the bar and was told " well you need to look after your kids!" This cocktail, like the previous drinks, took another 35 minutes to arrive.

Additionally, we ordered another cocktail, four beers, and two bowls of chips. The hot chips were cooked and delivered before the pre-poured beers. The bar staff were rude, and the service was disgraceful - everytime we asked were a drink was we were told it’s coming, they would go to the bar and ask the gentlemen and he would just tell them off. As long-term returning customers, we were highly disappointed with the current management and service. We would not spend another cent here, as there are many more beautiful places with accommodating staff around. Don’t waste your money! I highly recommend...

I recently visited Barbados with my family to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately, it was far from the experience we hoped for.

First off, the booking process was quite frustrating. We had to provide credit card details for a $35 per person confirmation fee, which felt excessive. Upon arrival, we stood at the entrance for about five minutes without any acknowledgment from the staff.

When we were finally escorted to our table, we were seated in the back corner with no view, despite booking a month in advance and noting that we were celebrating a birthday. To add to our disappointment, we received no menus. When we inquired, we were told they were available at the bar or via a QR code. We asked a waitress for a hard copy of the menu, which she eventually provided after multiple, but only gave us one for our party of six.

When we sought assistance in placing our order, the attitude of the staff was disgusting and made us uncomfortable. The waitress came across as rude and condescending, rolling her eyes and asking if we didn’t know how to use a QR code. When we received our drinks, the coasters were thrown down on the table carelessly, and she handed us our drinks without any comment before walking away.

Ultimately, we decided to go elsewhere for dinner and birthday celebrations. This experience definitely put a damper on our day, and given the restaurant's beautiful location and the cost, we expected...
