Salty Crew Kiosk — Restaurant in Port Macquarie

Banana bread tasted like a salt slab , fancy machine but didn't even bother finishing the coffee. Young staff member decided to start spraying down all the tables while people are trying to enjoy breakfast and coffee. Pretty much expecting them to move all their stuff to wipe under it , this was honestly hilarious to watch people's reactions. The first time I went I sat and laughed as a team member tried to convince some unhappy customers that 'HOT Chocolate' isn't actually meant to be hot... Instead of simply making it again... And having return customers... 🤔

Such a beautiful location and I'd honestly love to see this place do well !! A few things definitely...

Overpriced watery acai with stingy amount of fruit and stale granola. Adding insult to injury was the ridiculous 30+ minute wait which we were NOT warned about. What we were warned of however, was that an iced coffee would take 20 minutes to make. After hearing that we decided not to order coffee as we were on a tight schedule. The staff did not use any common sense and think hey maybe I should tell them the acai bowls are going to take MORE THAN THIRTY MINUTES to make. DISAPPOINTING. It was a drizzly day on visit and the staff were busy. The lady serving was so nice and went over and above to be as quick to take our order. We had fresh cinnamon cruffins omg they were so full of cinnamon and the coffee was superbly delicious. Had to come back for a second Long Black. There are tables and chairs but the timber amphitheater style seats facing the beach are awesome to sit and watch the waves. Order at the counter and get a buzzer which makes getting your order efficient and overall the experience was just lovely. Definitely coming back for more. Even went in the water for a dip while my friend waited for our coffees. Perfect...
