I grew up in the centre of its thickest little canopy, it was salvation from the horrible and may I add.......... Read moreA short walk near the Breakwall, worth a quick stopover. The gardens themselves were still developing but are beautiful, especially when you reach the waterfall and look out to views of the water. It's maintained by volunteers, the Friends of Mrs York, and you call tell they put a lot of heart and effort into the place. I was lucky to be there when they had a stall set up, with all the proceeds going to the gardens. A range of handmade crafts were on offer, I picked myself up some handmade lemon butter and passionfruit butter as well as a pen to remember...

Follow the path down from Clarence St, past the "waterfall"and along the wooden path to the hill top gardens, picnic tables and park benches to relax on and enjoy the ocean views! And remember to take the lower path down to Town Beach Park and Breakwall! A great circuit walk back...
