Milkbar Townbeach — Restaurant in Port Macquarie

After looking at the reviews I decided to walk down to this cafe as I got there I had realized I had forgotten my mask after being Rudely refused service even after offering a number of options to help the situation (phone order and contactless payment) the employee behind the coffee machine still decided to make a point for about 3 minutes on way they can’t serve me within that time I would have already ordered. After giving them another shot the next day I decided to head back with a musk this time I ordered a coffee, juice, banana bread and toasted chicken wrap for take away I was blown away by the price almost $40 then what was even more frustrating as it past 20 minutes and I still haven’t received my order 2 lady’s walk in with no mask and asked if they needed them and the staff said no and Continue to serve them (what was the difference from when I did it and offered a solution) 10 more minutes went past so 30 minutes in total now I received my order which the chicken wrap was not toasted the banana bread was dripping wet with butter and the coffee tasted like mud water I seen so many good reviews of milk bar to be completely let down shame on you Milk...

This morning we sat outside to view d nice beach and the table was dirty, no one served us so we got d menu from other table thats fine..i asked a girl to pls clear the table and she called someone to do it, the young guy with the curly came with d towel asked us if we put the table number in d tall milkshake container which was there when we came, and start saying bad words and told us if we want our table to be cleaned we should’ve clear the table🤷🏻‍♀️..what a rude attitude talking to the costumers like that.I’ve been in d hospitality industry for 18yrs and its the first time I’ve seen an attitude like that..me and my partner just said dont worry abt it we just go somewhere else.and i went at d front and told d lady barista abt that staff attitude..Business owner, if u want ur business to boom in area like PM,better improve ur hiring system,theres hundreds of cafes around competitions becomes tighter, rude attitude of staff will definitely affect ur business.we will never recommend this cafe to anyone and well never go back there...

The coffee is quite good & menu selection is typical breakfast fare; the staff could be a little more attentive to cleanliness. The presentation plate beneath the muesli bowl had the remains of the previous order of avocado; Cutlery & serviettes should be replenished after each cover. Although the staff smile when serving the rest of the time they walked around looking like it was an effort to be there. Sad, this place has so much potential; don’t understand how a cook wrap can be served quicker than a cold bowl of muesli. Orders for each table should come out at same time or at least the staff should advise “yours is in its way” with a beaming smile - patrons would then enjoy their meals together & not sit on the sideline waiting. Management responses to previous reviews over the past months saying this has been addressed with the staff seems to be lip service or the message is just not getting through.
