We were looking at the menu on the window deciding whether to dine in or takeaway when the manager or owner (I wish I took notice of his name) came over and welcomed us in and quickly took us to a seat. He was amazing, and despite the restaurant being packed didn’t hesitate to ensure that we were comfortable and the kids orders were taken immediately. He organised a special soup for them which they devoured, no easy feat with a picky toddler and 1 year old. We enjoyed some delicious tapas and then asked for some takeaway containers for our ramen as the kids were past their bed time. The ladies couldn’t be more wonderful and quickly grabbed us everything we needed to package our meals up and get us on our way. As we were paying the gentleman that had welcomed us at the start treated our daughter to some complimentary panda biscuits topping off what was a fantastic night for us all. We enjoyed our ramen in peace and quiet once the kids were asleep and it was absolutely delicious. We recognise that Bings isn’t a restaurant that caters specifically to children, but we couldn’t fault our family evening out, we left feeling so relaxed which is rare when dining out with 2 young children. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful night, we can’t wait to return next time we...

Friendly staff but food quality is below average

Walked in, greeted by staff and was seated straight away. Atmosphere seemed nice as it has a Japanese feel throughout. I browsed through the menu and ordered the salmon sashimi and the teriyaki beef bento box. The staff didn't really seem to know the menu and kept asking what the number was?! Waited about 10 mins before my pot of green tea qas brought to my table, followed 10 mins later by my salmon sashimi... 7 thin slices smaller than a postage stamp... and tge worst part is the salmon didnt really taste fresh either! 5 min later, my bento box came out. I tried each part of the bento box. The corn has come straight from a can. The spring rolls were store bought and the one piece of karaage chicken was way overcooked. Ther beef was bland and had no real teriyaki flavour. It was like as if they cooked the meat in a hotpot and then squirted a small amount of teriyaki sauce in it... and finally to top it all off, there was literally only 3 small pods of beans for my edamame.

Was recommended by a friend to try this place out... but I don't think it...

I love bings food, so I suggested to a friend that we go eat there. I have always got it as takeaway, the food is delicious.

It was my first time dining in for dinner. We waited 1 hour and 25 minutes before food got delivered, despite asking and following up on our order as we ordered Starter and Mains.

We had to ask repidedly for our drinks and felt like a burden.

It was a stressful ambiance. The staff were clearly overwhelmed/overworked.

The wait time and repeatedly having to ask for drinks really took away from the experience.

Staff were to stressed to even apologise for the lack of service. Very poor management.

I asked for a 2nd glass of Rose Wine, when following up on the order they insisted the wine I previously got was a Moscato, They are clearly different wines. The waitress brought me Moscato after I told her I had ordered a Rosé. She suggested I go and ask another staff member for the Rosè.

In the end, I didn't get my Rose. Safe to say, I won't be returning again on a Saturday night.

The customer service was atrocious, and the staff did not even apologise for the...

Visited here for dinner and was excited after looking at the reviews. Was extremely disappointed by the experience and would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food took an hour to arrive and throughout the waiting time, we were asked 4-5 times whether we had ordered food or drinks. The staff did not seem to know how long the food would take either. Ordered salmon sashimi ($7.80 for 6 pc), portion size was terribly small and was just small scraps. Photo attached for reference. Wasn’t too fresh either. We also ordered black tonkotsu ramen - the pork served with the ramen was hot on the outside but cold on the inside. While the portion size was decent, the taste was poor and the topping of red onion did not match the soup. Absolutely no hint of black garlic and all and left me wondering why I paid an extra dollar for it. The karaage chicken was mushy as well as and the batter was undercooked. Only redeeming factor was that the staff were lovely and extremely polite. But definitely would not visit again.

The vegetables were not washed, and when I told to the waitress Mary. She completely ignored my words. I asked if I could speak to the manager. The manager told Mary to bring the food and ignore me again. Then Mary asked me, what do I want? After I indicated that I only wanted an apology for letting me eating the dirty food, She finally responded *Sorry* even if it very quickly and insincerely. And she also told me that food is clean, only vegetables are not clean, I don't know what to say, vegetables are not food? Actually, I fully understand it could happened. Everyone made mistakes. I didn't even ask them to replace it immediately, I just let them know it when I leave, but their attitude was irritating, This is Mackay's worst restaurant. I will never come again.

My partner and I were really excited to try out Bing’s after reading all the positive reviews so we headed here one Sunday night and were really disappointed. My partner ordered the salmon donburi while I got a sizzling tofu plate with rice. My partner’s dish arrived about 25 minutes before mine, and as my partner was ready to get up and ask someone what was happening a waitress informed us that the tofu dish takes time to prepare and wouldn’t be much longer. It would have been nice to have been told this before we ordered our meals, or for the chefs to prepare the salmon dish later so that the meals could come out together. The food was nice, not amazing and definitely not authentic. The best part of our meal was the matcha tea.
