I recently visited Espresso & Co Cafe in Palm Cove, located right on the Esplanade, offering a stunning view of the beautiful Palm Cove Beach. The cafe’s location is perfect, especially on a calm, low-wind day, as you can enjoy the fresh air and relaxing atmosphere while sipping your drink.

I decided to try an iced coffee, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced. For food, I had the banana bread, which came toasted and topped with fruit and a dollop of cream. The banana bread was deliciously moist, and the fruit added a lovely fresh touch. I also ordered poached eggs with smoked salmon on Turkish bread, served with a bit of butter. The eggs were cooked just right, and the smoked salmon complemented the dish wonderfully.

The cafe itself is spacious, with an open layout, and the natural trees are beautifully integrated into the landscape, adding to the tranquil vibe. The staff were friendly and attentive for the most part, though I did notice one staff member being a bit bossy, ordering guests to move away from the ordering section. It seemed a bit abrupt, and I felt the manager could have been a little more patient and considerate in handling the situation.

Overall, the cafe is a great spot for a relaxing meal or coffee with a fantastic view. I would definitely return, but I hope for a slightly more relaxed approach to customer interaction...

Attended espresso and co cafe today for Lunch. The cafe was busy but we were seated quickly and told how the ordering system worked. We ordered two coffees and two salads and a juice. The coffee was prompt and delicious and that was about the end of any positives from our lunch.

The salads took 40minutes to arrive from the point of order (there was no mention about extended wait time at any point from staff). Both salads included chicken however there were two tiny strips on each plate we asked the waiter if this was supposed to be the case (bare in mind it costs $6 to add chicken to a salad). To which he said he would check with the chef and confirmed that the sprinkling of chicken was correct. The salads were tasty but at $21 (+$5 for avo!?!?) Probably not worth it. To end it all my boyfriend found a piece of plastic in his mouth at the end of his Salad. We again notified the staff who scurried off to the chef again and came back with a half hearted apology.

It's a shame we did not have the same good experience as many others, when you spend $65 on salads and coffee you would expect more and we have both left feeling a bit frustrated by the...

They are certainly busy every morning with lots of people waiting on the footpath and veranda. It looks a bit intimidating we nearly didn’t go in but we spotted an empty table.

They clearly worked out an efficient system which I couldn’t say about a lot of cafes. The long ordering queue moved quickly and our food was served surprisingly fast. Tasty too!

The Eggs Benedict was delicious so was the crispy bacon. Not too salty and have a very nice flavour. The crushed avocado on Turkish bread tasted fresh and healthy. The spinach & mushroom were great too. The scrambled egg was fine however the pork & fennel sausage tasted a bit odd. The coffee also didn’t disappoint — it was beautifully made and delicious. You can tell why people were waiting for their coffee.

One complaint from me is they mentioned pistachio dukkah on crushed avo — while I was looking for other crushed nuts and seeds I could only find a few crushed pistachio which a dukkah does not make!

It is quite a busy and chaos place so if you are looking for a peaceful breakfast this is not the place. It is a bit pricey but I haven’t been to any cafe/restaurant in Palm Cove...

Good food, coffee and service. Came here on a rainy morning in Palm Cove, was busy but managed to get a table straight away. Service was very friendly and were troopers as they all were in and out of the rainy spots to serve customers. We ordered the vege breakfast bowl and muesli. Vege bowl was extremely good with lots of elements and balanced taste, particularly the beans which gave it a deep flavour but overall still felt light and healthy (and partly made up for the sins of holiday eating to that point). Muesli was also tasty with a good balance of honey and fruit. Overall a great little venue and one of few choices currently in town for a solid brunch.
