McDonald's — Restaurant in Queensland

Tonight 4 May 2020 went to this McDonald's for Dinner. Wanted to add on at the payment window (Which is done everywhere else at other Mc Donald's) only to be told that is impossible.... she told us then despite being no other car behind us "Drive back around and make another order" ... Okay fine move on to the next window.

Given our order by a rude young woman... Checking the order and she continues to say "Goodbye" twice to which we responded checking the meal and "Is there a problem". I note there was no other cars in the drive thru.. There was a problem with the food. The chicken snack wrap wasn't in the wrapper and was hanging out in the bag... It was hard and the wrap cracked meaning it was extremely stale and had NO mayonnaise!!!!

Secondly the Big Mac had NO lettuce, sauce or anything and the pickles were under the burger buns in the box with COLD meat patties and cold cheese.... clearly this WASN'T fresh!!! This was inedible!

Chicken nuggets white and cold! (Clearly sat for a while!!) chips soggy, cold and inedible! 2 apple pies which again couldn't be eaten... Nothing is fresh.

The young girl had such an attitude and was so rude, I admit my fault in me then throwing a snack wrap out of the car into the drive thru as it was disgusting but she then attempted to instigate a fight by asking me to "come inside" repeatedly. She claimed I threw the snack wrap at her which didn't happen! Review the footage!

Your store needs a major overhaul as the staff have no customer service, no manners and no desire to project a good image for your business. I have now been a manager with ALH Group on the Gold Coast which own some of the biggest licensed venues in Australia since 2011. I hold Food Safety Supervisor Qualifications and would NEVER let any of that leave my kitchens. Any staff who behaved in the manner that was portrayed tonight would have been sent home to think about their condescending manner in which they treat customers and don't allow inedible food to be replaced and then attempt to instigate violence and threats...

Get new management because your manager on tonight's shift should be raked over the coals and the staff working tonight should be dismissed as they're doing nothing to maintain or promote your business! If you can refuse a refund and replacement of inedible food...come on! Get it together have some pride in your franchise which you have purchased and isn't easy to acquire.

During COVID 19 plenty of people would die for a job in our small town, give them a chance and get rid of...

3 times I've been there in the last 4 months, all 3 times the food was cold and I've asked for replacements. No apologies ever offered. Made to feel like I'm a pest. No friendliness towards customers, only friendliness is between staff who share jokes together in view of customers. Asked to speak with manager once due to sloppiness with covid precautions and filthy tables, not one clean one to sit at. I'm now writing this review because of my even worse most recent poor experience at lunch time on Thursday 3 March 2022, in the drive through, when I ordered one popper of water and one hash brown, and was handed them crushed together, and the water bottle had made the hash brown cold also the handling crushed it flat against the bottle. I told the girl at the window, she ignored me, but the girl behind her lifted her eyes to the sky and very haughtily said "all of 11 seconds!" I guess she means she only held it like that for 11 seconds, it shouldn't be held like that at all, but it yet again demonstrated the total lack of customer service skills of the staff at this branch - food handling and communications in particular. So I sat there waiting for how the girl at the window was going to help me, expecting a fresh hash brown, but what I got was a haughty "Are you right???!!!" As if I was sitting there for no good reason & so greatly inconveniencing her, so I repeated my problem, her reply was an angry "oh now we'll have to put the cooker on to give you another, you'll have to sit in the parking bay and wait (whether this was true, or whether I was being lied to, who knows ... no apology yet again, total disregard for me yet again, I figured my new hash brown would be spat on so I left. I will NEVER go to this maccas branch ever again, would rather drive to Sugarland. The staff are ignorant twits & the manager...

Absolutely appalling every time I go here they never have caramel frappes and most of time no frappes! However when one calls ahead and asks if caramel frappes are available n worth me driving in was told yes however when coming through drive through was told none available not even chocolate was offered instead of caramel! Confirmed with staff none available…yet when less then 20mins earlier was told yes caramel was! Upon leaving cancelling order I’ve then called same number back and told yes they do! So When I’ve explained what had occurred and wanted name of whom I’m speaking to was put on to store manager bree who offered little to none condolences or information other then miss communication and expected me to turn back if wanting them! Why if frappes are working why not offer different flavour to caramel if run out but told no frappes available. That’s more then just a misinformed staff missing memo about a flavour but she indicated no frappes! Only to tell me via phone that caramel wasn’t available when called up but lengths they went to to get a box still says incorrect information given or cover up story as we were told caramel was. Three or four different staff interactions and no resolve in fact I’ve wasted fuel again bothering with this store all for nothing purchased and wasted time of my day. To me they should be free or even deliver our order seen as efforts by customer…myself and partner to prevent disappointment again like usual when visit the closest store to us, being a fair drive also! I’ll recommend if wanting ice cream thick shakes frappes anything milky cold bypass this useless store! Duty manager should have stock sorted for staff appropriately and communicating between staff is essential which this team obviously lacks! Mac Donald’s you should...
