Muffin Break Caneland Mackay (Foodcourt) — Restaurant in Queensland

Upstairs muffin break is absolutely SHOCKING. Ordered $50+ worth of food, and they tried to serve me the sausage/spinach feta rolls FROZEN.

Later after I left I realised that 1) parts of my order was MISSING - a tomato feta tart was ordered but was absent from the pile of bagsI received; 2) gave the INCORRECT item to what was ordered - a cheesecake slice was given instead of the mud cake that was ordered: 3) tomato sauce given instead of barbecue sauce; 4) sausage rolls that’s frozen and uncut….The mistakes would’ve been somewhat understandable if the cafe was busy but this was at 9:30am with myself and another lady as the only customers.

Incompetent staff who cant even follow simple orders and were rude and dismissive to customers. I won’t ever be...

This morning I had coffee at Muffin Break Canelands. I'd like to suggest you teach your young staff some manners. Im a senior in age, and I appreciate being given a please or thankyou when asked for payment. I also appreciate a please & thankyou about completing the SAFE VISIT details, and not to be dictated too about completing something digital especially with arms full of shopping bags and trying to put my wallet away. I'm happy to abide by QLD law but since we don't have COVID in Mackay, a little common sense should be used. After all these young staff are the image representation...

Jacinta you are a legend. I bought 2 tall blacks and needed additional 💧 water after having our coffees. My water bottle was empty and you kindly supplied me with a large cup of water with ice, you saved my day as I had a bad migraine and just needed some extra water. Your kindness and customer service was beyond what most baristas would do. They should clone you, you are amazing thank you thank you...
