Attended yesterday 8/11/25, to say i was disgusted is an understatement. Walk up to the store, first impression not great. Cross contamination all through the bains, glass is filthy looks like it has not been cleaned in weeks, not one staff member had on a hat , apron or name tag. All of those reasons right there should have been my first indicator not to buy anything here, but i had a child with me who wanted a cheesy garlic toastie. Thought what could possibly go wrong? Blonde girl walks up, same gloves on from the previous customer, did not once say hi how are you or what can i get for you, she looked up and said “yes,” with a attitude. Ordered 1 cheesy garlic toastie with a little bit of sauce as said earlier, it was for a toddler. Proceeds to do do 4 lines of sauce on each slice of bread, didn’t use a spatula/ scoop to spread it out , stuck the bread together which did not even slightly even the sauce out. When i asked her to fix it up she rolled her eyes and did not fix it. Added an absurd amount of cheese, way out of portion with what the subway standard is, put it in the toaster oven on the wrong settling, sub came out black burnt on the outside and cheese not melted correctly. Asked for it to be fixed and was told it was the last 6 inch white , they only had malted rye bread left. The bread, another thing, disgusting and not even slightly up to subway standard. Overproofed and ripped. Every single surface filthy, can physically see the build up of grime ect. I watched a guy with black hair making some footlongs prior to this, every bit of salad fell out, didn’t fix it, just shoved it in the deli paper and wrapped it while it was all falling apart. If I ever gave this sort of performance I can only imagine how much trouble i would be in. Do better because this is not ok and way out of the health...
Read moreI had a wonderful experience at Subway Willows today. It was the middle of lunch service, there were a few people lined up and Ada was taking orders at the start of the line. I haven't ever ordered from Subway before and Ada was so helpful. She was ready with suggestions, she new what everything was and was happy to describe the flavour of things like the teriyaki, something I have never tried. She also had great suggestions for salads and sauces to compliment each one. She is a great asset to the Subway brand. Mine and my husbands lunch was absolutely delicious. We will be back and I hope to have her serve us again. Her smile was contagious. Thank you Ada for making my first Subway experience...
Read moreI just wanted to give a shout out to Ada. She was working this afternoon by herself and was very busy. She was doing a big order of 6 subs and had 5 other people waiting. Her attention to everyone waiting was impeccable. She apologised and explained that she was by herself and apologised about the wait. She handled the pressure perfectly. I am somewhat a regular and she always remembers my order. I hope she is treated well as she is a credit to this business. I will definitely be coming back and I hope I get her to serve...
