This has been my favourite Sushi Train, ever since it was first built. And currently my equal favourite sushi place in the Cairns area. It's lovely to see so many new additions to the menu, including a whopping 23 items in the vegetarian section. I had an old favourite, the Semi-Dried Tomato & Avocado Roll, along with two things new to me, Asparagus Rolls and a Healthy Kinoko Ship, which is Enoki mushrooms on top of a roll wrapped with a cucumber strip. Mmmm, lovely. I don't know if I'm a fan of the new QR code & order on your phone system, as opposed to the previous touchscreen menu, but I suppose it has some up sides, including me being able to bring the menu up on my phone, after the fact, for reference. I didn't use any soy sauce, but the website indicates they have the option for a gluten free sauce. It's not on the menu anywhere, so I guess you have to ask.

Nothing to complain about here. Food was available instantly, it was good and not expensive. I went by myself so they literally stuck me in a corner where the conveyor belt made a 180 degree turn. I took what I wanted, ordered a drink and started eating. The food seemed fine, I had no problems with its taste or freshness. I was especially happy to get some good tekka maki

Sushi train is always good. Foods are amazing and staff are friendly. No bad comments at all. And I saw there is a special prosciutto and melon sushi it was quite eye catching!

Great location but my goodness are they cheap about providing you sauces and a bag. We consistently spend $100-$300 on our office orders at Sushi Train and have to argue to get more than just a few soy sauces and one plastic bag to hold the abundance of food that we order. Now I just go to the other locations because I’m sick of bickering over $2 worth of sauces and a bag. Crazy to think though that for the maybe $2 extra they would need to spend to provide these things, they now lose out on all of our business. The sushi rice is also the poorest out of any location. It does not stay together well like the other Sushi Trains. However to be fair, the quality of the sushi is good otherwise and I’d recommend the location to anyone who doesn’t place large takeaway orders. Sushi Train Smithfield if your policy on proving these items to large orders ever changes please advise and I will update my review and order from you...

It's sushi train, they are all over. Expensive for what they are if you are used to Japanese Prices for sushi trains. Prices are easy to find, pay by plate colour, big sign stating colour and corresponding price on the wall. Somewhat limited selection rolling around on the train as they serve what is popular in that area/that time of day. You are more than welcome to order from the menu though. They have a loyalty card program. Take away is at the front of the store (on the inside of the shopping centre side near the register). Enter through both inside or outside the centre but the line if it's busy is on the shopping centre inside. They will seat you, stool or booth. They will ask what you want to drink and take any orders if you already know. Let them know when you are ready to leave and they will count your plates (and drinks if you ordered one) and pay at...
