I went there the other day and got six items for $92.18, which is a rip-off. We looked at prices online and decided to go because the prices seemed reasonable, but upon arriving at the store, everything was not the price it said online. The place should be called Chemical Hub instead of Healthy Hub. You can still taste the agricultural foreign matter (chemicals) on the buckwheat kernels, which are a product of China. So much for "local."
The potatoes were on their way out when selecting them; some were soft and squishy, so I chose the hard ones.
After checking various items, it's no different than shopping at Coles, with the amount of chemicals and modified ingredients they put into so-called "organic" and "vegan" products, other than the price which they rip you through the roof for.
I noticed they sell Pure Harvest oat milk for double the price compared to Coles. It wouldn't surprise me if they source their food from Coles rather than local farmers.
I also saw that the ravioli was rather expired; it had mold growing on the ravioli and inside the box. When I tried to notify the lady next to me, she blatantly ignored me. I only got her attention when she walked past, but I had to essentially put it in her face to get her to notice. Once she looked at it, she said, "Just don't buy that one."
You are better off shopping at a local farmers' market for fruit and vegetables and looking elsewhere for other products that are not jam-packed...
Read moreClean pure food without toxins such as pesticides and grown in mineral rich soil (i.e. certified organic food) is real nutrition for the body. It will always cost more than conventional chemically produced food, with the cheapest ingredients and grown in demineralised soils with the resultant foods filled with preservatives, colourings, artificial sweeteners and savoury tastes: food is our health, it ought to provide the nutrition for the regeneration of our cells, it is our prevention life insurance policy so that we don't end up with Alzheimer's and or other degenerative disease now or later on in life. It is precious and worth many, many more dollars than we are ever charged. Be grateful it is available as a choice for those who know it's worth and appreciate the value for good health into the future for oneself and family: then it is not expensive , it is essential with every mouthful savoured and appreciated and in fact eating chemical free is less costly than eating chemical foods, as we don't end up eating rubbish, buying rubbish and our appetites are satisfied on far less food because of the nutrient density of it. It takes a little while to change, it's worth it, try it...
Read moreI have spent heaps of money on this business and it’s actually quite nice, til I bought something that said 20% off, and when I got home I realised it was expired by many months. When I went to change it I was told the owners know about it and still just sell the products 20% off, and that 20%off it’s because the product is expired. I went to change the food product, and the big blonde lady at the counter told me, yes if products are discounted is because they are expired, and I told them that’s illegal in Queensland to do, and she starts swearing, not at me but just mumbling stuff, like she was super pissed off about it. This experience made me so uncomfortable I’m not coming back or recommending this place unfortunately. The other ladies that work there are lovely and the food is nice, but selling expired mouldy products, and still charge heaps for it knowingly, and making a fuss when you realise this, it’s just way too unfair and yucky. (Product was 4...
