Cairns Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre Visited on 16/7/2022 The Botanic Gardens is a big compound. It helps to have some guidance from the onsite "expert". The staff is very friendly and helpful. The centre is also a gift shop, with many local products, especially some essences. Somehow I think the display can be improved and organised a bit better.

The Botanic garden is a beautiful place. The boardwalk gives you the Jurassic Park feeling. We liked it a lot. Well maintained but still got the wilderness vibe.

Lovely small tropical garden. Largest palm I have ever seen. An amazing conservatory of tropical plants from many countries.

The best botanical garden I have ever seen. The only thing I l absolutely wanted to see visiting cairns.. so sad to post a bad review.. I asked in the visitor center about a plant I’ve always dreamed of seeing as a 23 year old who got a degree in horticulture, sad to say I was treated really rudely by a women who absolutely hated her job at the front desk.. it makes me sad to post but I’ve never been treated so horrible. I walked in with a huge smile and was treated so horribly.. staff truly makes and break’s experiences. Can’t believe I waited over 2 years to come here to be...

The gardens were wonderful, lots of beautiful views.

However, the staff in the shop were rather rude, and not very polite. Taking the item I had just bought from the gift shop and shoving it in the box with...
