These guys take cutting corners to new heights... at the cost of quality food! We ordered 2 caesar salads with 4 prawns per bowl... at the grand cost of $33 for each salad! That's an expensive salad! The chef has obviously changed since we went last as this used t9 be generous and worth the cost. But not now.... the only decent part of the meal was the prawns and everything else was as stingy or substandard as it was possible to be! The poached eggs were pre-cooked, refridgerated and hard!!! Who does that on a caesar?!?! Poached eggs on c/salads are meant to ooze over the salad when cut to make an uncious mix with the dressing. Nope... these we pre-cooked & totally cold and hard - no runny yolk and we're frankly disgusting... not at all what they should be on a caesar! Then the dressing was so stingy it was almost non-existent & the salad had more parts undressed than had dressing. Zero anchovies (& clearly were not in dressing either - stingy). A tiny serve of lettuce not a generous bowl full - given the entire meal sat in a small bowl, this would have been unacceptable small for most adults looking for lunch. The bacon had been cooked with some other seasonings or meat and frankly tasted terrible with a bad aftertaste. So please, if you are a salad or caesar lover, avoid avoid avoid.... it was a vast disappointment & we feel ripped off! Chefs.... for goodness sake, do you think that an acceptable version of caesar, because it's absolutely not!!! You see this in locations where they don't care about return custom, and you can be sure it'll be never again for us... and we're locals not tourists so you just lost your return custom & any chance of...

Never again will we go to this cafe, we placed our order, and over the next 15-20 minutes the staff tried to give us other peoples orders twice (English not too good either), so eventually people who arrived ten minutes after us were getting their orders I decided to enquire as to where our order was. I approached the individual (Male) behind the counter calmly and politely about it and I was told to sit back down extremely sternly, I thought strange thing to say to a customer, and the attitude behind it was agaggressive, so I politely and calmly asked for my money back as by this time we had been waiting nearly forty minutes for a coffee and cake, whilst reasonably busy it was not out of control and 10 minutes would have been an average wait for coffee. Anyway, I decided to stay and get the coffee and cake after 45 minutes and copping the attitude, but by god there is no way known I am going back to this establishment, I understand stuff ups happen, but when the staff make you feel like its your fault, instead of showing some basic customer...

Nice place to while a way a lazy Sunday afternoon. Limited menu, so they can work on getting it right. Food is flavoursome and presents well on the plate/board. Everything is good... BUT.... I ordered the BLAT. Picture shows how good it looked, and it tasted just as good. It was just almost impossible to eat with the cutlery they supply. Krispy Bacon, well toasted bread...need a steak knife to get through, and then your Avo, Tomato and Lettuce. Like I said... Tasty, just a fight to get it down with the butter knife supplied, and that detracts from the food. Second meal was roast veggies salad. Once again, presents well, tastes great. The big struggle here (and it is just some feedback), is that maybe just be concerned with the salad leaf mix you are using and maybe break it up a little smaller so that you can just eat it with a fork. Almost like eating pasta and needed to twist it on to your fork like spaghetti. Just the little things need some attention. Almost...
