We just bought battered barramundi and chips from this place. It is one of the worst meals I have ever eaten. In fact, it’s gone in the bin because my five and a half year old was revolted by the state of the food. The chips were hard and black. They tasted terrible like they had been reheated, and gone bad. You can see the black chips in the photos. The fish was slimy, and the batter was so soggy it was just hanging off the fish. I have never seen anything like it, and having eaten here before I have no idea what went on today. I won’t return as I think any place willing to serve this food, is beyond concerning. I phoned the place and let them know just how bad it was. I wish I had checked the food before I drove away, as I would have immediately demanded my money back and gone elsewhere. Check your food if you buy from here, as there is nothing worse than getting all the way home and finding...

My Husband & I had Codfather on Sunday 13/06/21. We ordered 2x Munch meals (1/2 Cod, 5-6 Calamari, 1/2 Chips and tartar sauce), a Cheeseburger meal, Tomato sauce (FYI $1.50), a drink and lemon for the fish. The wait time was not bad, however, after leaving and stopping at a nearby outlook to eat, we discovered that we had NOT been giving any Tartar sauce, Lemon, or the Tomato sauce which we had paid for. The Cheeseburger was good for the price ($7.50 plus $3.00 to make a meal.), But could use some BBQ sauce or perhaps extra tomato sauce. The Munch meal has a good amount of food for $11.00, however, you could get almost the same meal, swopping Cod for Whiting via the $7.50 kid’s meal. Overall, We would eat here again for the Fish meals, but next time double check the order before leaving to make sure everything you paid...

We went here due to a recommendation from a local. This was honestly the best fish and chips I’ve ever had - and I am fussy and value top quality service and food. The fish was the real deal, lightly crumbed and fresh and juicy. The scallops were delicious. Very friendly polite lady behind counter. Took too long though (15min+) due to phone orders came through. They should have told phone orders they would have a longer wait and do in store orders in the same order rather than prioritize phone orders - they gave me some free tartare etc because of my wait. I asked for extra chicken salt as I usually buy my own tub but it wasn’t available. Was worth asking as it needed that amount. Nice park...
