The Sugar Shaker Restaurant — Restaurant in Queensland

Sugar Shaker is centrally located on the 1st floor of the Grand Chancellor Hotel.

There is a spacious seating plan with easy listening pop music. Thankfully not too loud so we could easily hold a conversation.

We were first there and seated in a timely fashion. We were given menus which had a desirable selection of choices.

The meals were delivered quite quickly and together.

The food was incredibly presented and total taste sensations. We had meat lovers pizza, rib eye steak and I had an enormous lamb shank in red wine jus with creamy mash, broccolini and baby carrots. We all agreed the meals were amazing.

The staff were attentive filling our water and checking we were happy with our meals.

I checked in with Bel who was so kind and generous with her knowledge and help. When I could not get the phone in my room to work I went to reception to organise some room service. Again she was so helpful and sorted it all out. Breakfast I had the lovely Rose as my helping hand in the buffet. She explained everything and how it all worked. Even offering to get a coffee from the bare when the machine did not fill my cup with...

The Menu isn’t as good as it used to be better offerings before on previous menu which is the one on line. it used to be up market and is just very average now. Disappointed this time than from our previous visit which was very good before. Half the items below aren’t even on...
