Sal's Authentic New York Pizza - Richmond — Restaurant in undefined

Ordered and were told 15 mins wait which we were happy with. Waited for over a half an hour to find out they had been calling our order but the girl at the front took my name down wrong so the pizza had been going cold for twenty minutes. After going up and asking, we were told and given our cold pizza even after identifying it was error on their end. No offering to remake or apology, but just being told to touch the bottom of the box as it had been sitting on the oven so “it shouldn’t be that cold”. Honestly ridiculous service. Being made to feel like it was our fault was crazy after they sat and watched us wait for so long with not a thought as to where our order may be. $50 for a cold pizza and rude...

I have been to Sal's Pizza a number of times from when they first opened their Melbourne store on Flinders Lane back in 2019 and now recently been going to their Richmond store a few times.

Came on Thursday night with 2 other people and ordered a whole Brooklyn pizza ($45) which is one of my go to pizza (pepperoni, sausage and meatballs) and was nice and big. The staff are very friendly and a whole pizza can take about 15 minutes to prepare provided that the restaurant is not busy as it can be at times. Can also get a slice or two if a whole or half a pizza doesn't fancy you.

I was missing a coke from my last order and the team gave me another for free with my second order, was not expecting that at all. Thank you guys, always a great time!

This didn’t age well. After this post this is the second time we’ve had issues. Ordered mixed, part vegan and they were quick to tell me an 80$ refund for our recent order will take a few days to come back, but not quick enough to update the website to reflect they’re out of stock of that option. Now we have to spend more money on dinner.
