Myself and my girlfriend have been to nearly all the breakfast places in Perth, we’ve had a range of foods, services, and more, but never have we had such poor service.
Sat down at a table just like everyone else was, with some menus and waited to order.
Sat for over half an hour waiting to be served, the redhead lady walked around and served 2 other couples that had sat down after us. This lady had looked over at us and clearly could see we where waiting to be served but continued to walk by or ignore us.
I was beginning to feel a bit inpatient so I went up to the counter to order, the redhead lady saw us and walked away saying “just a moment”, with a rude smirk on her face as she walked away. I then expressed my disappointment to the bloke at the counter. Explaining that we had waited over 30 minutes and had been ignored, he told me that they don’t do table service after 2, mind you that the redhead lady have served 2 others that had sat down at tables that was after 2. Not to mention how where we supposed to know it wasn’t table service after 2 as no one had bothered to inform us.
On top of that we where ready to order before 2, unfortunately waiting all this time to be served the kitchen had then closed. We usually come earlier in the day but thought we’d do something different, there isn’t any mention on the website or google about the kitchen been shut after 2. Usually the standard is kitchens shut an hour before the restaurant does.
We’ve been here before many times and had great experiences, usually great and friendly staff with quick and effective service and tasty food.
I don’t think we’ll be coming back for a while after this experience. Or until the management improves as it is has sadly gone down in quality and truely...
Read moreMy friend and I got brunch here the other week. It started off good, sat down, ordered food. Our drinks and one plate of food came out, the other plate took about 20 minutes and i had eaten mine to avoid it going cold before the other came, but that was fine, i can understand a busy cafe will have bad days with time management. The issue was when the second plate came out, the short man with the strange half beard lining the chin and goatee thing and a french(?) accent came out holding 3 plates, one didn’t look like what my friend had ordered and the other did, he said the name of the dish being served and we looked at each other confused thinking this doesn’t seem right and maybe he’s handing us the wrong plate, we said in a slightly confused tone “oh we ordered the __” and explained that we think he has the wrong order. Instead of offering any sort of explanation that this was infact the dish we ordered it is just plated different to how it usually is, he raised his tone and said with such attitude the name of the dish we ordered again and pretty much slammed the plate on the table to a point which we got a few looks from surrounding customers and then stormed off without saying anything else or even giving us a chance to respond. It was the most awkward thing i had experienced at a cafe. my friend ate in a rush so we could get out of there asap since we were so uncomfortable. It just come across as unprofessional. Although the food and drinks were great, we definitly won’t be coming back or recommending this place to friends. We would much rather find a cafe with good food AND...
Read moreHonestly, food was actually quite good. Just simply very disappointed with how they handle a small problem, not good service with customers! It started as we wanted to get our from our Park Spot (We parked at a legal parking with an actual parking box space on it). However, there was a Mustang parked literally in the middle of the driveway. Keep in mind, it is meant to be a one way traffic inside the area as there are road marks on it. Even the other customers sitting outside were looking and wondering on how we might go out with the Mustang in the way. Ofcourse, I talked to one of the staff for help, it was the guy with a beard and wearing a yellow brown sweater. At first, he said he will help find the owner to move the car out. Well, in the end, the staff came out and defended the Mustang owner instead. The staff asked me to get out of the parking lot by reversing instead. I asked the Staff again on why he can’t just get the Mustang to move a side. Then, the Staff replied they usually tell customers to park anywhere when it gets crowded. I dont think it’s an acceptable reason, fremantle is a hotspot and you can always find othe eligible parking spots. Anyways, there was even a free parking spot already! I tried asking the staff to move it again. However, the staff instead told me If I have an issue reversing it, he can help. I don’t get it he is defending the person in the wrong instead and even tried to help in the first place (just wasting time). Very unprofessional. Wont be coming back here again. There are lots of other places with good food and good service. Lastly, with...
