Peaches — Local services in South Fremantle

We love Peaches! Produce is always above average, they have a great range of hard to find fruits and vegetables that are fresh and great quality. They also have an excellent range of organic, vegan, and gluten free products, as well as gorgeous fresh flowers, and amazing cheeses! We get their fruit platters and cheese boards every time we go as the quality is excellent. Some things are on the pricier side, so if cost is important to you just be aware of pricing, but we have found that the more expensive items are due to the quality and rarity (ie Sapote, Dragon Fruit, Feijoas, Etc) and in our opinion they always taste better and last longer than any of their cheaper counterparts from other stores. In saying that, they also have a large range of items that are cheaper than other places (such as the lettuce this week). If you're having a special occasion, picnic, or just want to spoil yourself, we can highly recommend checking out their options for antipasto and charcuterie, their cheese range is truly fantastic! Staff are always kind and eager to help in anyway they can, the place is always clean and tidy, and you can tell the owners really take pride in and love their store. Service has gone way down. While the owners sit around all morning at the nearby cafe the staff are becoming more and more incompetent each time I visit. Just now I had a full trolley of items and at checkout I placed 3 bags including one flat and open so goods could be packed straight in. Instead the girl just scanned items and placed them NEXT to the bags it would’ve taken no more effort to put them in the bags. I was busy unloading my trolley onto the counter and didn’t notice until I went to pay. Then the girl just stood there and watched while I paid then packed everything myself. It never used to be like this but for a long time now the customer it seems does not come first. The freshness of the produce has also deteriorated and there are often things in the organic section that are not organic. I even heard the staff discussing where to stack a product recently and consciously. decided to put it in the organic section even though it wasn’t organic. Great all round shop from the fresh food they stock to their customers service. The lovey lady working behind the till this morning was the definition of good customer service and hospitality. She explained the shop is divided when you enter 1 half is all organic and vegan items the other you will find meats and full cream items ect(Not 100% divided but easy to understand the layout for new shoppers knowledge). Massive help when shopping vegan or organic. I asked about a item(Vego chocolate bar) I was walked to it’s exact location and she even upsold as I originally picked the small one first. As we walked in the store she talked about items and explained one was from Scotland. My experience was good customer service, up selling and sharing knowledge about in store products along with some fun fact(love fun facts) I’ll definitely put this as one of my top 3 experiences since starting my Google reviews on small businesses.
