My Indian friend took me here which goes against my grain in the first place Give the man meat! But it was his choice
Aside from that….. I would never go back… never! $26 buffet We were served in cardboard type containers I asked for water as everywhere “I” go bring water to the table as you sit down I asked and was told they don’t do that and the gentleman who I believe was the owner went on about every reason why it is not hygienic to bring water to the table In fairness, he gave us a bottle each of water from the for sale drinks area and did not charge us! Some consolation as I didn’t want to hear a 5 minute speech… I j just wanted a glass of tap water! For the Coles unit cost of bottled water which is $1 per 1.5L that would have overcome that situation Nope probably selling to the public for $4 as a guess for 600ml bottle $1!!!! Cheap cost for customer retention $1.5L surely Cmon guys!
I asked for salt with my buffet style meal… I was brought some in a small cardboard container… now is that hygienic I ask? It came with a fork! Sheesh, only when I asked , I got given a bamboo Spoon because the first attempt was a bamboo FORK! There was no cutlery! Then another 5 minute lecture telling me that in 4 years, I was the first person to ever ask for salt! Cmon!!! Whilst we were eating the food from the cardboard containers, nobody came to take away the used ones! They were just mounting up! There were also no napkins on the tables To clean my hands, I was sent in a room where a young lady was washing some sort of dishes…. I had to wash my hands in one of the cleaning kitchens! While the lass was working, I had to use the tap and sink! It was a metal commercial sink! No ceramic tap bowl which everywhere else uses in their toilet/rest rooms! Wait it gets worse…. I asked the lass where the toilets were. She said I had to ask for the key and obviously go to shared toilets I didn’t bother…. I was really annoyed without being at all rude to anyone. I wish to clarify this point. I ended up holding on and stopping the Windsor Hotel nearby to use their toilet!
I was really glad when it had come time to leave…. A Shocking experience All round
And I am not one to complain or even post Negative comments, In fact, I usually if I had a really good experience will go to this effort to compliment the business!
Sorry won’t see me...
Read moreI visited this place last night with a group of 8 other friends. We decided to go for unlimited dine in deal and to sum it all up, our experience wasn’t great. Pros: They were accommodating and placed us upstairs as downstairs didn’t have availability for a bigger table suitable for 9. Staff was quite polite and listened to us. Cons: The food was quite average. They didn’t bring the quantity we ordered. i.e. we ordered 2 nos. of each dosa so that we can get 8 pcs to share but most of the times they conveniently forgot and brought just 1 plate (4 pcs.). Also, it was a lot of waiting for each order. So, if they brought just one cheese burst dosa and if we reminded them that we’ve ordered two of them, the second one was served after 15-20 minutes which means only half of the group will be able to taste the first dosa and the remaining half have to wait. This happened with most of our orders. We sat there from 7.00 pm to 10.00 pm and most of the time, we were just waiting for food. Each round came with half the quantity of what was actually ordered. We would have appreciated if they would have told us that they won’t be able to bring our orders in time due to busy time and we would have ordered our individual meal – it would have costed us less. Even after spending $30 each, we were still hungry. Dahi wada came with cardamom flavoured yogurt on top which is never heard of in either North or South Indian cuisine. Each dosa was tasting sweet which is also a bit strange. The wada in wada sambar were very hard plain bonda - not the one with a hole in the centre. And most of the chat varieties were overloaded with tamarind chutney. Please bear in mind that they don’t have tap water and you have to buy your water or cold rink. To sum it all up, only great things were jaljeera and rolled ice cream that weren’t part of unlimited...
Read moreWe came across this place while searching for dosa nearby — and what a find!
The food was absolutely deeelicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with bold, vibrant flavours that came together in perfect unison. Each bite felt thoughtfully prepared and full of character.
My personal favourites: • Pani Puri – Crisp, tangy, and incredibly refreshing • Dahi Puri – Creamy, spicy, and delightfully crunchy • Aloo Tikki Chaat – Rich, comforting, and full of flavour • Vada Pav – Simple, spicy, and perfectly balanced
We also tried their all-you-can-eat dosa and street food buffet, which was fantastic value. It’s an excellent choice if you want to have a wide variety of dishes in one sitting — from street-style snacks to hearty mains and sides, there was something for every taste.
The dosa selection was equally impressive. I’m a big fan of crispy dosa, and among all the options, the Mysore Dosa and Sada Dosa were my top picks. The accompanying sambar was rich, warming, and deeply satisfying. An add on is Nutella dosa if one is fan of crepe!
Service was excellent — the staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. We felt genuinely looked after from start to finish.
To top it all off, the background music featured nostalgic hits from the ’90s and early 2000s, creating a warm, feel-good atmosphere that perfectly complemented the meal.
