Beautiful place to do anything social. 😊 Met friends there for lunch, it was cold, they had the fire going. It was just stunning. The food was ok. I ordered Eggs 🍳 Benedict but it was lacking the beautiful sauce tbh & the eggs 🥚 were cooked to long. I had an incident with the Chamomile tea ☕ not being Caffine free which was a bit of a problem for me but they were VERY supportive, helpful & terrific about it! My friends hamburgers 🍔 were unreal & I'll be going back! Sooo I'll let you know how that goes 👍🏼 Changed to 5 Stars, been back with my husband and had a meal and it was fantastic. We love this place to come in Winter as a cosy beautiful place to sit by the fire and watch the world go by.

I've been to Miss Perez a number of times and enjoyed the food and vibe, and the place itself is beautiful. A friend and I went for dinner on Tuesday and I have to say, the service was outstanding! We were served by Stuart, Kim and Nick over the night (hope I've spelled names correctly) who were so attentive and accommodating. They were respectful when my friend and I were chatting but never missed a beat when it came time to refilling our bubbles or water glasses. The food and wine was also delicious and extremely prompt. Would highly recommend Miss Perez for a great meal with fantastic service in a gorgeous space.

I’ve come here too many times to count over the years. Service is inconsistent regardless of whether it’s busy or not. Sometimes I wait for 15 mins for food which is great; other times as long as 1.5 hours (which seems to be the case lately), finding out my meal has been forgotten... Usually just a burger and fries which isn’t a complicated thing. We’ve had things like fruit toast take 30 mins to come out after everyone has finished their meal. It’s a shame and wish I could give it more stars because it’s got a lovely atmosphere, good coffees and a great menu, but it is a tad pricey.

Wonderful! Such an amazing place; so many of the accoutrements that guarantee a 'trendy' coffee shop. The outdoor paella man was a nice touch. A few tips and tricks will put you right over the top and no-doubt put you into the 'Top 5 Coffee Shops in Stirling':

  1. Once you seat the guests and say you're going to get the menus, it's usually a good idea to actually get the menus. I know for some hipsters irony is looked upon favourably, but you see, I've got a dicky knee, and getting up again to get my own menu is a bit of a chore. I did enjoy mindful meditation for the 10-minutes, which had I known it was deliberate I might have been able to stop fixating on 'when will those menus arrive!'
  2. I've noticed in some of the 'big city' coffee shops the waitresses (and waiters, sometimes, don't want to appear sexist) carry food and drink out to tables on these things called 'trays'. I know the mark of a true hospitality professional is the ability to carry a pot of tea, jug of milk, cup and saucer, a fully loaded cappuccino and spoons without any assistance (in the bare hands essentially); but I think it would ease up the workload and help with the more junior staff who are new to waiting tables.
  3. I'm a HUGE fan of drinking a significant proportion of my cappuccino out of the saucer the cup was placed on; kind of like bonus chips in the bottom of a McDonalds take-away bag. Just when you think the meal is over, there's abonusl aperitif! You can imaging my joy when I noted quite a bit of my cappuccino had sloshed out into the saucer, and not a little bit had dripped off the cup onto my t-shirt! It all felt very authentic and made me feel very lucky my waitress had chosen NOT to carry my food out with a tray. On the other hand I've seen more prudish people look down on spilt coffee, particularly if it ruins their best t-shirt (not saying it's a good t-shirt, but it is my best).
  4. The fruit-toast was delicious, particularly when served at room temperature, that perfect in-between moment when all the heat from the toaster has dissipated and the bread has the appearance of 'toast', but the mouthfeel can best be described as 'chewy'. Fortunately the ambient temperature was enough to melt the butter when the 'toast' could not. I've also seen other places keep the food warm once it was prepared, and even bring it to the table with a trace of heat left! p.s., I understand the waiter had some trouble finding the table with the food, again some other places have solved this problem with table numbers and dockets etc., what I really enjoyed was the waiter ignoring me when I correctly identified he was carrying our order (I used to be a chef, you see, but never in an establishment as classy as Miss Perez), indicated he should approach the table (carefully mind you, still no tray), yet he still chose to walk inside to 'check' which table the food was for.
  5. Love the deconstructed fruit toast! 3-slices of Tip Top fruit toast, waved in front of a radiator for a few seconds, served with a pot of butter (lovely) with the option of asking (or not asking, choose your own adventure) for some jam! Lovely, so exciting. Nice touch also, being situated in the most renowned local produce area in Australia, that the jam would be Cottees Strawberry Conserve, rather than any of that locally produced, home made muck almost everywhere else serves. Took me right back to my days as a student (the good days, when I could afford Cottees jam).

Keep up the good work Miss...

My partner (35) and myself (28) have just purchased a house in Stirling, and as you do after a few weeks, you try to find your new everyday cafe. Today, we decided to try miss Perez. On first approach, we received a very warm welcome from a bright and bubbly curly haired woman who guided us to an available table. (I give her energy 5 stars) This is where it takes a turn. It appears the lovely woman that greeted us at the door is simply the hostess and we would be served by a younger dark haired woman who promptly came over and asked us if we wanted any coffees, to which I said no because I wanted to read a drink menu (unaware that it was on the back side of the menu) she proceeds to leave and I’m left wondering what drinks they offer besides coffee. Soon after, we had come to wanting to place our order, happily wanting to spend money on a feast. My partner had gone to the toilet, and I was left to try and get the attention of the FOH staff to place our breakfast and lunch orders (yes, we love food) Finally 10 minutes after trying to make eye contact with our young server, she glances over and realised I’m ready to order. I explained to her that we would love to stay for breakfast (to share) and then we will have lunch when their lunch menu is available. My partner and I, on a Sunday morning wanted a calm and relaxing morning so I thought I’d indulge myself and order an espresso martini and a green juice for us both to share. The server then asked me if the espresso martini was for my partner and I said we would both be sharing. She then said I can’t serve you without ID. Now I understand the legalities whilst holding a RSA, as I have one myself. But to be very frank, I am covered in tattoos and we are very clearly not 18 or under. I then went on to explain that we walked from our new house this Sunday morning and neither of us had our phones to provide ID for this waitress that was clearly younger than me. And she apologised and said we can’t serve you. So I proceeded to tell her that we would no longer be dining here for breakfast AND lunch and promptly left. This is the first and last time I will be attending your cafe. It was a shame as I was quite excited to try your menu this beautiful Sunday...

Have been to Miss Perez on many occasions and found that the service and the food are always fantastic.

We first came here about 6 months after they opened. There have been a few restaurants in this location that have never really been any good. Miss Perez had put on a scoopon special so we thought we'd give it a try, as it is local to us.

When we got there we found that the menu was quite varied but the different burgers seemed to be the favorite choice looking around the restaurant. So let's try their signature burger the " Perez Burger". Lesley has severe onion allergies so we inquired about the beef patty, and any of the sauces that go on the burger. To our surprise they don't use onion in the patty but the onion jam obviously has onion in it. The burgers were delicious each bite was like a taste explosion. They were a little over paked with lettuce for my liking but the other ingredients weren't cut down on to make room for lettuce. Fries were very tasty and the condiments they supplied were a great compliment to the meal.

Since then we have been back quite a few times an have found that the service and quality have stayed the same.

They used to do an awesome Prawn Gyoza but sadly that was taken from the menu. Bring it back and I'll be back more often 8).

We would definitely recommend dining here for lunch or dinner.

Keep up...
