Stirling Chickens — Restaurant in Stirling

I have been a customer of the shop under the old owners for over 15 years. Always consistently good, tasty food and prompt service. Placed a phone order on the weekend and was told it would be ready in 25mins. Arrived there at the 30min point to a very full shop of waiting customers. Waited another 25mins. My order was quite simple....a chicken cut into 8, chips & gravy and 2 salads. Whilst waiting, I noticed a teenage girl working there, painfully slow in packing orders, rolling her eyes when her boss gave her directions, a number of times, in full view of customers. Not a good vibe.

I know the owners are new and also appreciate that it takes a few months to get systems etc rolling smoothly, but the delay for such a simple order was disappointing. Also when I tried the chicken, it was dry and lacking in flavour. The stuffing was not good, crumbly, tasteless and dry. To pay $19 for a chicken that was dry was disappointing, not to mention the loooong wait.

I'll give them another go in a few months and hopefully they will...

I really try to give places a go after they change hands I tried with Stirling chickens but after tonight I think I'll take my business to aldgate which is disappointing as it's always been a favourite place to purchase dinner from tonight I placed an uber eats order for pick-up when we arrived my wife went in as I have issues walking for her to be told there was no order under my name so she came and got my phone to show them and even spotted the order docket itself and pointed it out to be rudely told she needed to of mentioned it was an uber eats order to which she replied I did after further waiting we received order but sadly this is 1 time to many in the disappointment scale I know I'm not alone in saying it's gone down hill since new owners took over and I'm sure none of this will be cared about but goodbye...

What a pleasant experience. I went in here yesterday for a steak burger and got greated by a super friendly young lady that looked like she was happy to be there. This looked like a family business and all worked together in harmony. My food was ready within a reasonable time and the Woman even gave me a couple hot chips with my burger. This made me make sure that I do whatever I can to get this Family Business out there to be supported by the community. Thank you Stirling Chicken for making my day, I will definitely visit you again if I'm in the area....
