From the moment we entered Tapas10 in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland town of Mapleton, on the beautiful traditional lands of the Gabi Gabi people, we knew we where going to have a great night. The aroma coming from the kitchen had our mouths watering before we even sat down to peruse the menu. Being greeted by staff as we entered was both warm and welcoming, which is always an important part of a great dining experience for my family and I. We were seated on the upstairs verandah section of Tapas10, which gave us a beautiful opportunity to view the stunning glittering lights of the Sunshine coast's spectacular coastline. And even though we were seated on the verandah outside, we were warm and comfortable because Tapas10 has a great heating system set up to make diners feel relaxed. Our waitress was friendly and made sure our orders were correctly recieved. Our food arrived in great time and was as stunning to look at, as it was to eat. We ordered a number of dishes as we had heard that Tapas10 was THE place to eat on the Sunshine Coast, and they absolutely didnt let us down. Our order consisted of Udon Curry, Garlic Bread, the T10 Chicken Tacos, Fish & King Prawn PauPlette, Smokey Bacon and Sauerkraut Meatballs, Mejillones Cremosos (Black Mussels in a creamy chorizo & garlic sauce), Karrage Chicken (served with yuzu curd, aioli, edamome, and sweet chilli sauce), and a burger & chips. Head Chef Ferenc certainly knows his craft. Our dishes were so beautifully presented, smelt incredible as they were sat down in front of us, and the flavours were SO good that we will remember this dining experience for a long time. The food was seriously beautiful both on flavour, portion size and presentation. Sometimes a dining experience becomes a memory to share with others, like this one, so others can take the opportunity to really enoy a great night out with friends or family. Tapas10 is 5 star class from the beautiful staff, to the views, the atmosphere, but mostly the fact that the food you go there to eat, is prepared to an excellent standard by a professional Head Chef who clearly knows how to make your taste buds sing. Highly HIGHLY recommend Tapas10. We where also more than happy to notice that there are vegetarian, Vegan and gluten free options, and parking was no issue. We were met by the manager who in our opinion, provided us with the most amazing customer service experience we have ever had! A little cheeky banter, great sense of humour and the best customer service!
Well....then we were seated by the most delightful waitress who was so knowledgeable, enthused and an utter delight. She too made our lunch so so memorable.
And then THE FOOD, we selected a number of tasty tapas dishes, the three of us were embarrassing with all the gleeful noises we were making whilst eating such heavenly delights! Our personal favourites were the lamb skewers with yoghurt dipping sauce and the Pecorino/feta stuffed mushrooms sprinkled with truffle oil! OMG heaven!!
We polished off these delights with a cheeky Chardonnay.
When all was said and done and we were all feeling in utter Spanish Heaven, the Head Chef sent us out a complimentary plate of the most divine chocolate empanadas. Be still my heart..... so, so good!

I’ve never felt more at home in a restaurant than I did at this wonderful place. Despite it being a busy night, the chef and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. They made sure I felt right at home from the moment I stepped in. Even though the restaurant was packed, they offered me a cozy spot on a nice couch upstairs, allowing me to enjoy my dinner in peace.
The food was absolutely outstanding! The crispy fried satay chicken was nothing short of amazing—so big and flavorful that I couldn’t finish it all, but I gladly took the leftovers home. The baked crispy salmon was equally mouthwatering, and I couldn’t get enough of it. To top it all off, I had what I believe was a cheesecake for dessert, and it was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
What really made the night special, though, were the humble souls who served me. Their kindness and attention to detail transformed my tired day into something truly beautiful. I can’t wait to return to this gem of a place—it truly feels like a home...
