I don't like writing poor reviews but this was hands down the WORST breakfast and service I have had. We were told there would be a 20-30 wait for breakfast as they had just had a large group through (we were not a part of the big group and they had already left the cafe), which put pressure on the kitchen. No problems we totally understood. The cafe was fairly quiet now with people mostly ordering coffees. After 1 hour and 20 minutes and still no breakfast and watching 7 other meals get served to people who had arrived after us, we enquired as to where our BLT and beans were....we were told we were next. To say we were utterly disappointed is an understatement, as we watched the beans be retrieved from the microwave, and served with a cold piece of toast. My BLT had wilted, brown and inedible lettuce, the bacon hardly cooked and served in a stale, untoasted bread roll. After waiting so long for food that was completely sub-par and spending $60 on breakfast we couldn't finish were were left hungry. The cherry on top was how dismissive the lady behind the counter was of our long wait which was clearly an error on their part by forgetting our order. We walked up the road to Maleny Pie Guy and ordered a pie and sausage roll as we were so hungry. Thank goodness for them as they gave us incredible service and saved the day serving quality food with a smile.

IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S REPLY - As mentioned we were not a part of the big group of people - we were told when we arrived that a big group had just left and therefore the kitchen was running a bit behind. We were a completely separate table. It also was no excuse for the terrible food (stale bread and brown and freezer burned lettuce) and...

Ordered :

Cappuccino $4.6 Hot mocha - lactose free milk $6.2 Ginger Soy Chicken: $23

Total should be : $33.8 excluding credit card fees

Upon checking the account I was charged $41.58 ( including credit card fees)

Ripped off during the Easter😏

Reply to the Owner:

Don’t blame my credit card as it doesn’t have any transactional surcharges irrespective of the occasion!!

Even with 15% surcharge the amount should not exceed $40

Your POS system is as illiterate and incompetent as you are!!

I will consider it as a tip for the time you took to respond to my review!

Blessings and prayers to your business mate!! Certainly my first time going to a rip off place during easter! Hoping that you won’t make it to the next one!!

All the cost you mentioned isn’t updated on your current menu.

Lactose free milk 0.6 on menu vs $1? Medium takeaway $1.30? Really? Realllyy??? Greed enough to charge but not smart enough to make it visible to the public!

Mate you hold on to the money you looted, it may come handy on your trip to hell.

To the people who are reading this :

Please look at the hidden costs and scamming loopholes of the business under different transaction names mentioned by the owner.

I may sound stingy but I actually am not fussed about a mere $7.78, I am a huge supporter of the local business community however there are ethics and moral principles that are to be respected by...

Nice little cafe in a good spot with pretty good, reasonably fast service and a nice vibe, however the food is a letdown. My daughter and I ordered garlic prawns which was our first mistake. In what stratosphere is FOUR very small frozen prawns and about a quarter of a cup of cooked rice for $28 okay? I mean skimp on the prawns if you must but rice? Really?? The bowl was nowhere even half full?!? IT’S RICE FGS! The garlic sauce was reasonable but under seasoned. I’m so over eating out and getting charged up there prices for very little! Husband and son had a curry which was way too spicy and lacked actual authentic flavour. At least it had a reasonable amount of meat though.

In response to owner’s comment - there were absolutely NOT seven prawns - there were four, for both myself and my daughter’s meals. And minimal rice. Why should we have to complain or bring anything to your attention - not that anyone asked us about our the garlic prawns anyway?? Just give patrons good value for money from the get go and you can avoid these reviews and people having to have uncomfortable exchanges post-meal. It’s not our responsibility to maintain your quality control, that’s your job. We just won’t...

Tucked away near a children’s park, this cafĂ© is a real gem for anyone craving a relaxed vibe and flavourful food. Known for its Asian-inspired dishes, the menu offers a refreshing twist on the usual cafĂ© fare – think vibrant, well-seasoned meals that are as satisfying as they are comforting. The space itself is open and airy, with plenty of tables spread across the open-plan layout, giving it a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere. It’s the kind of place where you can settle in for a leisurely lunch or enjoy a quiet coffee while the kids burn off energy at the nearby playground. Speaking of coffee – it’s just as impressive as the food. Smooth, aromatic, and expertly brewed, it rounds out the experience perfectly, whether you’re popping in for a quick caffeine hit or making a morning of it. With good food, great coffee, and a location that’s ideal for families, this cafĂ© strikes a lovely balance between flavour and functionality. A fantastic local spot that’s perfect for casual catch-ups or a peaceful solo break surrounded by good energy.

This was the worst salad I have ever had. It was described as a warm beef and ginger salad with a sweet soy sauce glaze. The salad was drowning in what tasted like 1/2 cup of melted brown sugar. There was no balance of salty with the soy and not a whiff of ginger. It was incredibly sweet and very sickly. It was impossible to eat. In reply to your defence of your horrible salad - I had 3 mouthfuls of the salad and had to stop eating it, because it tasted like sugar with no other flavours. So I hardly ate any of it. In the picture I pushed the salad to one side to show the bowl of syrup in the bottom of the bowl. You have no idea how to make this classic dish - it was devoid of soy and ginger flavours which are part of the description. I repeat it was really horrible - sweet doesn’t mean sickly - it means slightly sweet but with other flavours to make it interesting and flavoursome.
