We have been to this place twice now (only because it was the only place open at night that we could find - we had a movie to attend) and we won't be going back! There is just NO service!! We were told that the FOOD is very good - and it was very nice the first time we went (although we had to wait a very long time and so ended taking the food with us to eat in the Community Hall!) - but on the second occasion, we booked super-early (to give us LOTS of time to order and then wait for the meal), and we told the young female waitress that we had a movie to attend so time was of the essence - but when it had been more than half an hour and our entrées had not yet arrived(!!) - and there was only one other couple in the restaurant!! - I went up to the counter to ask how much longer to wait? The waitress asked the chef/cook (just ONE person in the kitchen, it seemed) and he told her that it would be another TWENTY minutes(!!) - 20 minutes for an entrée?? - a couple of dim sims!!! UNACCEPTABLE!! It seemed that they were prioritising all the phone orders ahead of their in-house diners ;-(( We just did not have all that extra time to wait - we were VERY disappointed (to put it mildly)!! - so we asked for a refund! (We ended up going to the Maleny IGA and we were lucky to buy some hot food there - all ready made(!) - which we could eat straight away - and then make it to our movie just with five minutes to spare!!)
I had to rate the atmosphere quite low because the ceiling there - in most rooms - was covered thick...
Read moreVary choices. I love the soups from this place so so so much!! If you love noodles soup, go for the Pho. There are different types of Pho as well and my favourite is the rare beef pho (not bloody rare haha, it’s ‘JUST’ cooked beef slices on top of the noodles). If you feel like veggie soup, go for the wonton soup. For this I really don’t know how to explain 😅, like it just feels really fresh because of the veggies in it and there are not as many spices as the other. If you like spicy soup, go for the spicy beef soup (Hue noodles soup), my favourite of favourite one 🤌🤤. It is vermicelli noodles in spicy soup with slow cook beef slices and the Vietnamese sausage slices. So good, too good, I literally can eat it 3 meals per day without getting bored. Challenge yourself with spicy level haha. If you feel like something fast and easy, go for the spring rolls, fried wonton, rice paper rolls, … In order, these photos are vermicelli salad, Vietnamese broken rice and wonton soup. Ya know, sometimes we just gotta realise that it’s Australia. Im 100% Vietnamese and I find the food here very good and close to the food tastes of Vietnamese people 😀🤙🏼. Even in Vietnam, different place, the same type of food still can taste different. Hope ya guys find...
Read moreAvoid this place at all cost, the food was sadly very flavourless except for the fried rice that was good. HUGE massive muck around for our takeaway. We ordered at 4:45 as we were starving, the child on the phone who took our order could barely speak English so I had to make sure I repeated myself multiple times clearly and also asked him to repeat clearly 3 times. They still got half the order wrong and 3 Banh mi buns were missing. We were told it’ll be ready in half hour but it wasn’t ready until 1 hour 45 mins. Only to find it was wrong. At first we were blamed and told that’s what WE ordered …. NO IT WASN’T. We were refunded for wrong item after we gave it back but no further offer of compensation was given, for the missing items we had to place a second order at another place. HUGE waste of time and not good service when they are in the wrong for...
