BEST BACON & EGG ROLL we’ve had in our lives… not even being dramatic!

We feel very lucky to have stumbled upon this place, unsure if we were hungry or not, we decided to order a roll each. My partner and I had that moment you see in movies where we took our first bite each and instantly locked eyes as if to say “are you tasting this too?!”.

The bun was like the texture of a brioche but had a savoury taste, we later found out from Gus (the chef) that it’s made with potatoes!! Gus has also recommended 2 sauces - BBQ and garlic and herb mayo. In all honesty, I’m not a breakfast roll kind of girl, but I could see that changing if these rolls were in my town 😂

After having one each we were pretty full, but wanted to see what else there was… as we sit in food comas now, we can definelty say we didn’t need the extra but omg they were all so good 🤤🤤 if your a foodie, don’t miss this experience!

Thank you Gus for making such great food and we appreciated your humour and passion as well. We know where to stop when we visit Maleny.

MUST TRY IF YOU'RE VISITING MALENY AND WANT THE BEST BURGER. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yolked Up in Maleny, QLD, and it was an unforgettable experience. I ordered a lettuce-wrapped burger with three smash patties, egg, cheese, and pickles – and it was absolutely incredible. The simple, quality ingredients were elevated through expert preparation, delivering maximum flavour in every bite. The patties were juicy and perfectly seasoned, the egg added a rich, velvety touch, and the crisp lettuce wrap kept everything fresh and balanced.

What truly sets Yolked Up apart is the owner’s passion and dedication. Running the business solo, the owner not only serves up fantastic food but also provides exceptional service with a warm, friendly attitude. Their commitment to their craft and customers is evident, making this spot even more special.

What an amazing find! Came across this breakfast joint in Maleny and I am glad I did. The owner Gus is a great guy who really cares about producing quality food.
