Disappointing portion size, disappointing experience! :(

We ordered a Reef and Beef $29 and a Reef Special $15. They looked extremely similar so we asked why the dish was $14 more. They said it was because of the 3 squid rings and 2 prawns, both super basic frozen-bought, some basic shredded cheese, sauce and 'Gourmet' salad (which was just canned corn). My fiance also had corn in her salad which was explained that 'you were lucky you got the corn in your salad'. Although, she got tomatoes and I didn't.

We initiated another conversation with the manager again after dinner which fortunately, she was more apologetic. The apprentice is there to learn so shouldn't take all the blame. The steaks were cooked nicely. Wish the price and service was just better overall, too bad, it has potential to be better because the location is superb. Step up with some fresh produce, with reasonable pricing for what you get and we...

I was a little apprehensive about ordering food from Black Bunny due to the look of the place and the yellow and black warning tape everywhere due to the construction 🚧 works going on around the building but decided to give it a go and ordered crumbed fish and salad and a piccolo of champagne. The woman behind the counter was SO LOVELY and welcoming and my food came out promptly and it looked delicious! The reef fish was so fresh and the small side salad was tasty and fresh, not just a ‘token side salad’ it was delicious. The next morning I got my coffee from there and it was excellent! I recommend dining out at Black Bunny and giving it a go… I hope they can quickly finish the construction and give the place a bit of a revamp so the aesthetics match the terrific service and fresh and reasonably...

During a week’s holiday at Alexandra Headlands, we came to regard the Black Bunny as our “go to” place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We dined in and had takeaway many times during the week, and every time the meals were terrific, well prepared and presented. There’s a comprehensive range of options from the menu, all reasonably priced, especially considering the large servings. Personal favourites were the eggs benny, the Big Bunny Burger and the seafood chowder, but everything we had was exceptional. Loved the coffee. The staff were courteous and helpful every time. The only thing this place lacked was street appeal – it looked a bit empty when you walked past, but definitely...

An absolute joke for $32 for 3 tiny pieces of lamb overcooked, undercooked small serving of chips, and asked for no salad and got salad anyways... got coffee from here this morning as well, threw it into the bin after the first sip. Edit for the reply from black bunny Cafe. Lamb loin chops are $28/kg from woollies, and if you're not bulk buying from a distributor for a far cheaper price than that, you're doing something wrong as a business. Clearly the meal was takeaway otherwise it would have been resolved in Cafe. If you dont like the review black bunny Cafe and bar, lift your game and don't overcharge 🤷‍♂️

After many visits to Mooloolaba and staying in hotels with tasteless cold breakfasts we came across this little gem while buying an ice cream at Cold Rock...right next door and thought we'd give it a go. My hubby and I are not fans of smashed arvo on toast...we like full cooked breakfast and boy oh boy we were not disappointed. Super friendly service and hot food that was perfect and pleanty of it . We will definitely be visiting again. Recommend to anyone who likes a good feed.
