Cafe Venice — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

I visited Café Venice this morning and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere of the café was charming and cozy, with a nice, relaxed vibe perfect for a morning out. The food was tasty — I had a delicious breakfast, well-prepared and fresh, which left a positive impression. The place itself was clean and inviting, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy a meal.

However, the experience was marred by the staff's attitude. While the service was prompt, the staff seemed uninterested and lacking in friendliness. There was a noticeable lack of warmth or effort to engage with customers, which detracted from the overall experience. It’s unfortunate because the food and the setting were lovely, but the negative attitude from the team really stood out.

If they could improve their customer service, Café Venice could be an amazing place to visit. As it stands, though, the unfriendly atmosphere left me...

This cafe is so lovely and calming. I was able to get my uni work for the day completed in record speed, the instrumental piano playing a big part! The customer service was so sweet, I didn’t feel like I was bothering them just by ordering like I do so often at cafes these days. I think it would be kid friendly as there is a whole basket of crayons and colouring in paper.

The road is a little loud, and the food is a little expensive for the quality- but the coffee is AMAZING. The bean they used when I was there was strong and slightly nutty with a chocolatey undertone. So delicious with almond milk.

Honestly to me, atmosphere is everything. So 5 stars! Will definitely become a regular.

Food was cold. Asked for Scrambled eggs with the Gladiators feast and got poached. Wife asked for soft poached eggs on the Eggs Benedict and got hard eggs. Toast on Gladiators feast was basically warmed up bread. Coffee tasted like it was burnt. BBQ sauce drizzled all over eggs Benedict. Service was below average, took away the bucket thing on the table with knives and forks in it, to fill it up and then never brought it back. Had to go searching for knives and forks. Serving size on Gladiators Feast was small compared to what it sounded like it would be when reading the menu, must only feed small Gladiators. Won't be...
