Little Blackbird Cafe — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

I came in today for a second go at the menu. This time dining in, and selecting my own food & drinks instead of the catered experience I originally had.

I ordered a Dirty Chai in ice, Eggs Benny, Scrambled (3 extra eggs) with avocado, bacon and chorizo! To top it off I had a slice of banana bread, toasted, and buttered.

The gentleman who was point of service and table service. Outstanding.

Food you say? Just try it, I haven’t had hollandaise sauce this good since Freo in WA 3 years ago, and I’ve been actively looking!

Presentation was tops, food exquisite, service second to non, and the all important coffee? Simply Wonderful!

I came here for a brunch during my stay at Sunshine Coast. I had a very good experience. The woman at the counter and serving was very nice and helpful. The food was very good as well, everything was cooked to perfection (the bacon, eggs, and crunchiness of the toast, and the benedict eggs sauce), the avocado was great and even the little salad on the side too. I ordered a matcha latte but then noticed I didn’t order a room temperature or cold one (it was a bit hot), and I decided to ask the woman if she could transfer it to my canteen with some ice so I could drink it on the way. Outstanding. The service and hospitality was welcoming and attentive. The menu has ample selection but nothing extraneous, making selecting very easy.

With only one chef and a fully booked dining area,the wait time was a little long. But that is to be expected,and we were apologized to for the wait several times (though we did not mind at all).

The food is well thought out, flavorful, and felt extremely fresh. The coffee was creamy and low in acidity. A definite winner if your in the area. I would come again even if staying further away next time. Totally...
