Nice location. Food was basically what you could have at home (or if you’re a good cook it’s more like what you’d be served in nursing homes lol), wasn’t impressed with the price due to the quality of the food. Took my parents there and mum had the special which was chicken breast wrapped in bacon, it was actually chicken leg with 2 slices of bacon placed over the top (no flavour or sauce) and she said the veggies tasted like they were cooked in a pan that the bottom was burnt. Dad got the catch of the day and was happy with it. I got small serve of beef nachos which I was happy I got the small serve because it was 90% cheap corn chips with about 2 table spoons of the beef and beans mix (beef to beans ratio was painfully off also) over the top with cheese around the edges of the chips, the proportions of meat to chip ratio was so out of whack and the meat was not spread out so I had a small section with meat and then a plate of chips with cold melted cheese sticking them together. When we told the waitress our food was average and not that great she went silent and didn’t ask any further questions giving us the impression she had probably heard this before or simply didn’t know what to say. Terrible experience. Ordered nachos which came out as a cereal bowl size of packet corn chips, topped of chopped tomato, spoon of guacamole, some sort of poached chicken I paid $9 extra for, no cheese or beans and some sour cream in a plastic container!!

$32 for a meal I would not serve to my 5 year own twins.

Made the staff aware of my disappointment, offered another meal, in which I was not prepared to chance, even though I hadn’t eaten all day and drove over an hour to meet my parents for a family catch up, asked for a refund, which was processed by the “duty manager” who didn’t even bother to ask my name, handed me a refund receipt and went about her “duty manager” duties.

I sat in the restaurant while my family ate their very average meals (something I would expect to be served at the RSL or a retirement home) and not one person discussed the experience or even offered me a drink to make the experience somewhat worth the hour drive on my one day off for the week. But no, back to the city, never to return! I would leave no stars for food if that...

Great location and friendly staff, but sadly the food was terrible and took 40minutes to arrive. I ordered the cauliflower steak with mash and vegetables. The cauliflower “steak” had absolutely no seasoning and I believe it had been cooked in water then lightly thrown on the grill for 2 seconds to give it grill marks. The mash was clearly packet rubbish that tasted weird, was cloggy and uneatable. Veggies were water logged and had very little taste. My friend ordered the crispy pork belly and was also dissatisfied with his meal, saying the pork wasn’t crispy, but chewy and it the pork belly was approximately 8 little cubes which was mostly fat. Very disappointing especially seeing as though when we arrive at 11:30am we were told where to order food from, but when we went up to order we were told that we couldn’t order until 12pm, so by the time the food arrived at 12:40pm I was starving and in hindsight I should have complained at the time and asked for our money back, because it was the worst meal I’ve had in a long time.
