Hungry Jack's Burgers Nambour — Restaurant in Sunshine Coast Regional

I've given enough chances to this establishment but finally my first 1 star on the coast.

I've run into multiple issues, so let's go through a couple and the one that finally made me write this review.

First the positives. The place looks nice, large, plenty of room and modern. It hasn't run out of a frozen drink or ice cream while I've visited. Toilets are nice.

Now to the crux of the review.

When they first opened. Food was average at best (Compared to other Hungry jacks establishments). Was not pleased.

Another entry into this establishment. My partner and I were the only two customers within the store. We spent about 3 minutes at the counter before The Acting Manager (possibly?) was standing at the food line, called out if someone can serve. Another minute or two. Another call out. More time passed and someone else asked if someone was going to the front. After maybe 10 minutes of an empty store and miscommunication at the back we got served. Ended up getting cold chips and the burger wasn't well constructed. (Once again for a fast food place).

A couple of nights ago, we ordered food. I got one of the more expensive burgers, the Grill masters pulled beef and Angus. They hapily took the order. What I ended up with because they had run out of the beef, was the cheap cheese burger patty. Wonderful! I pay for the top of the line burgers and get an angus patty with a cheap patty on it. Not to mention the cheaps tasted old as if they'd been sitting in the run for too long.

The only positive experience I had here was my free Rebel whopper for my birthday. It was delicious.

I feel like the establishment just has a lack of communication between staff for service and for understanding what has run out in the kitchen to stop serving food.

I'm just pretty disappointed as Hungry Jacks is probably the best fast food chain, but this place does not live up to even fast food quality...

Not clean at all. Came first thing in the morning for breakfast and every table had drink stains, sauce spills and crumbs all over them. The chairs are just as bad. The floor appears to not have been swept or mopped since it opened to the public. The glass doors are filthy and I'm not brave enough to check the toilets. Really didn't want to eat in here at all but my kids insisted 😒 Alerted staff. One girl came out with an unimpressed look on her face about having to clean the tables for us which only further put me off. Not good HJ's the only saving grace was the food being fresh. Going forward - ensure cleaning is thorough on a nightly basis and tables and glass doors/high touch areas are serviced at...

Literally the only car in drive through, ordered at box at 10:00AM. Got to first window to pay, sign on window to go t next window. Waited there for 2 minutes before crew member came to collect payment. Then was asked to wait in waiting bay. 11 frickn minutes later our food arrives. Very poor drive thru service, extremely slow. Next car thru drive thru about 6 mins after we ordered was made to park as well. HJ head office you really need to look into why there drive thru is taking so long when there is only 1 order. I also assume they are bumping their Q-Timer as well so there SOS is as per regulations. Read you google reviews, Nambour facebook groups at all the complaints on slow drive...
